It's not just trojans....
Odds are 60% or more of those files are duplicates.
Anyway, I'll miss TPB. A lot of people don't realize that it wasn't just for pirates--I was able to find a lot of old versions of various freeware programs (and a few newer versions) that were all-but impossible to find on Google.
"Do you bother with game demos" is a question with the same answer as "are you an intelligent/competent consumer?"
Granted, some demos aren't all that represenative of the final product (Valkyria Chronicles leaps to mind), but at the very least they show us whether or not the game is "done." --which is something of a necessity these days when more games are shipped out unfinished than not.
I'm just glad the PC version isn't getting delayed AGAIN.
...because Starcraft II was NOT delayed. For it to have been delayed, it would have first needed a release date. There was NEVER any indication we would see the game in 2009. Not even in the slightest.
Anyone who thinks this "delay" is surprising--or worse, newsworthy--has his head stuck so far up his own ass he can lick his own trachea.
"Nintendo" is singular, not plural.
The unofficial decensor didn't work 100%.
And am I the only one who can't download this (or the 1.5 update) from the official site?
I've never been a fan of brawler, and I'm generally antithetical to the whole notion of "crime games."
But I picked up Yakuza 2 on a whim and was blown away. Honestly, Yakuza 2 is right up there with Shadow of the Collasus and Okami as being one of the few, nearly-perfect games that every gamer should play.
We're getting Way of the Samurai 3 over here in a few months. Well, only for the 360, but it's better than nothing. I just hope the balance between the Kurosawa stuff and the contemporary anime trope is better this time around.
Current=/=Planned, and Europe is kind of the last stop for Japanese games.
Marilyn Manson? Giant "DON'T BUY" flag.
Dunno what t'tell ya' ...guess ya' weren't lookin' hard enough.
Er... this may be "new" but it's certainly not news. I've had Diablo 2 in hi-res 16:10 for a very, very long time.
I tried 1680x1050, but that was too big. Now, I think I've got it in 1440x900. Resolution hacks are nothing new--especially for Diablo 2.
Now if it were for Starcraft, that'd be a different matter.
I've had the game since launch, and still haven't found Dogmeat.
Of course, it probably doesn't help that the game consistently crashes after thirty minutes.
Yakuza 3, Yakuza 4, Yakuza Kenzan... soon, there'll be three top-tier PS3 titles Americans won't be able to play.
/sigh
Sinanju or Sazabi?
Anyway, did anyone ever really care? It's a terrible, terrible game, who's only appeal is that it's based on the first Trek Movie in decades that didn't suck.
"the bugs still left in Fallout 3 aren't really killing the experience."
Yeah, I'm have a grand time playing Fallout 3. Well, for the 20-50 minutes at a time I have before the game crashes on me.
Rather than pump out DLC, I'd much rather Bethesda patched their game so it, ya' know, actually WORKED. But I guess making good, functional games is too much to ask for these days. Especially from them.
RPGs are hard?
No, wait, JRPGs are hard? What does Japan have to do with this?
If you ask me, Baldur's Gate was far tougher than any JRPG I've ever played.
That's pretty hideous.
These images confirm my initial opinion of the game--it's crap. Why are anime fighters even looking like this after that Naruto game?
Nice. I never did get a chance to play the expansions.
If it's really "identical" in terms of ability, I'd be able to play my PS2 games on it.
