No, it won't. And Demon's Souls is far from a typical RPG. Yes, it's good, but it offers a different experience than, say, your Magna Carta 2 or Lost Odyssey.
....I don't care any more. Forget Kenzan. Forget Final Fantasy. If we get Yakuza 3, I won't ask anything more from this generation.
I hope that movie isn't in the game itself. Looks like a pretty dull thing to waste on a cinematic. (We should be playing that battle, not watching it).
This isn't news... it's not even close.
Let's see.....
PSP can play PSP games.
PSP Go cannot play PSP games.
DSi can play DS games.
DS can play DS games and GBA games.
DS>DSi=PSP>>>> >>>>>>>> ;>>>PSP Go
Not news. We've known the release date for several months now.
I don't care who publishes it so long as it comes, comes soon, and has the original audio.
None of the promotional videos, interviews or previews made any indication about the godawful, bottom-tier writing.
Since S-E is so keen on keeping the release dates closer together this time (after giving up on simultaneous-releases) ya' think the Japanese version might have English menus/subtitles like Demon Souls?
Mass Effect had moral choices?
No, not really. It's not a choice unless it has a consequence.
Seconded.
Uncharted 2 and Ratchet are both more of the same, and GoW always felt pretty generic and underwhelming to me.
The voice-acting quality will now be sub-par, and the extra budget spent on "big names" will likely mean other elements will be skimped out on.
Remember when Bethesda forgot to hire writers?
And does anyone actually like Kate Mulgrew... in anything? Ever?
Seems like the better a Gundam game is, the less likely it is to be brought stateside. Anyway, I plan on importing this no matter what. Gotta celebrate the Anniversary somehow, and since none of the other stuff is gonna be in time (Unicorn, 00) this'll be it for me.
Shame I don't have time to marathon Turn A again.
Clearly, backwards compatibility is still a major issue, or we wouldn't be getting so many stories flooded with articles defending its absence, nor would we see so many debates between people who want +feature instead of -feature.
It's obviously a big issue--not a neccessity, but probably the biggest issue facing the PS3 now that price is no longer so obvious an issue. The thing is, the PS2 really, really, really SUCKED.
Thing is, it's really hard to emulate a PS2 wi...
...how the hell did this get approved?
I'm a 360 fanboy because I don't want a console with gimped features?
The 360 is even more gimped than the PS3! Geh.... so... bloody... goddamn... stupid.
I could care less about the demo. It's been so long since the initial announcement, my enthusiasm for the game has waned considerably.
At this moment, I'm just hoping that both XIII and Versus will be released Stateside before I graduate--Christmas 2011.
Loved Steambot Chronicles. It really was one of the best, least-recognized PS2 titles. Personally, I don't think the stock market was as good of a thing as this article makes out... but the focus on the journey--on the daily life--I absolutely loved. It's the kind of experience you really can't get anywhere else.
I really, really hope the sequel is localized. And, failing that, I'd settle for english subs on the JPN version.
You'd think the Washington Post would have better editors. "Kan.?" Really?
You've got a choice between KS and Kansas. There ain't a lot of middle ground.
...that so many of you are agreeing with IGN. Of those people who have actually played the game, MOST of 'em are rating it fairly highly--placing it somewhere between Lost Odyssey and Tales of Vesperia.
When it comes to eastern RPGs, or eastern games in general that aren't super-hyped, IGN (and most mainstream reviewing sites) tend to be blindly negative.
