Imagine a developer that finds a way to make a 3d world that way. It'd be crazy.
Looked more like GoW or Dante's inferno, compared to dmc. Bayonetta looks more like DMC to me.

3dv was working on a $50 vid cam capable of the same thing with slightly less accurate results and I think MS bought them out so they could develop something cheaper and more accurate together.

Instead of a button press to control the character on screen, you are the character on screen. Bend down to look for clues, using your hands to aim and fire weapons, or using pipes to knock away enemies.
Everytime I see a game now I can't stop thinking about how natal could make it better.

It's some extremely impressive stuff that allows for upto thousands of players in an FPS game a single time.
First and foremost, the eyetoy is nothing, NOTHING, like natal. Eyetoy uses 3 cameras to attempt to find distance using perspective.
What natal does is send out an infared light, then records the time it takes for the light to reflect back to the camera, providing a realitme understand of the world. What this means is that the camera is sensative enough to track the movements of your finger.

natal can track the movement of your fingers, so you can pretend firing a weapon, why not just point at it and make the trigger motion to select items or fire weapons.
If you've ever seen the z-cam concepts that natal is based off of you would know that natal can track finger movements.
So, an FPS would be pretending to hold a gun, using your finger to pull an imaginary trigger. Or an RTS would be point at a target, stick out your thumb to select it.
and one regular camera for color, tone, which is then combined along with the calculating the perspective difference between the 2.
That's why this camera can work in the dark without a problem.
