I wonder if the same thing happened to warhound, the game was looking absolutely fantastic the last time I saw it.
When you show 2 gameplay trailers and not one gameplay and one replay, and both are either cam or direct off screen trailers.
PD does a great job of making the replay look much better then the gameplay.
all your video's are showing to me is that gt uses sprite, 2d tree's, and there's a lot of white wash/simulated hdr and shiney cars.
the more I see actual gameplay from GT the less and less impressed I am by it.
most of the shots that people post aren't from the game itself, and they're heavily touched up.
While GT might still hold in edge in terms of what the actual cars look like, the levels in forza are ahead of GT, the difference between the 2 racing games graphically is next to nothing imo.
GT looks absolutely amazing, but the game in motion isn't half as good looking as the photos. Even the gameplay from doesn't look nearly as good as the replay videos from the gam...
CUDA is quickly becoming the standard for any photoshop user and if apple drops it then they'll be shooting themselves in the foot.
you actually have it backwards.
Companies don't pay to make things multi-platform. They pay to keep things exclusive. Why would a company purposfully limit their market by developing for a single console, unless they're being paid? It's why you hear about MS paying for exclusive content like gta.
The truth is that sony didn't pay enough to keep FF and MGS:r exclusive, that's why they're coming to the 360.
is if they replaced the witch with a modle of MJ... and it always attacked zoey first.
the car doesn't get any dust build up, then all of a sudden it has a tun of dust when it crashes.
The trailer is just another target render, probably using in game assets.
This has been proven many times.
Also notice how it doesn't say "in game footage" anywhere like other in game trailers have?
on the forza shot it's red red blue, in the real life shot it's red blue red.
actually all the stickers on the forza model are backwards...

just google search forza 2 and paint jobs and you'll get a small sample of the great customized cars out there.
Just what type of paint jobs they create, specially with how the game looks now, and how the models look.
If so could we see MS providing silverlight web-games and silver light web apps for the xbox? Like bing maps(which is like 100x better then google maps for the isometric view)?
I know it can provide streaming 1080p.
is in the same league as denis dyack for douchbag developers. He posts a blog where he swares like mad, and little kiddies love it. Then he goes on rants about insignificant stuff and just ends up looking like an idiot. Just like how he went ape-shiet on reviews because they didn't give calling all cars the greatest game ever award... even though it was a cell damage ripoff...
because the wheel base and chasis from a 2008 golf is so much different from a 2007 and a 2009.....
The sad fact is, even if you can't get the same car in forza like you can in gt the physics in forza are still more realistic than the phyisics in GT. Top gear, poular science, tire companies, sim racing show all tend to agree... So yeah, I'll take that customization and realism any day of the week.
what you don't understand about forza is that ever car can be customized to match the gear ratios, spec, and performance of all other cars based on the same model, swap engines, change the weight ratio, tires, trans mission, fly wheels, cams, heads etc.
Customization and Realism is what every true car fanatic and enthusiast like myself would ever want. It's great to get a bunch of cars, what's even better is taking your car and tuning it and transforming it into your dream car,...
ouch jolly low blow there. Just imagine all the great cars forza users will miss out on, like the 10 different version of honda civics, acura integras, and ford focuses, most of which feature the same car model so that a certain game can claim it has '800' cars...
and you also forgot l4d2 in the november list :)
and halo odst coming out in late september.
I think they chose not to show it because they wanted to focus on the open world encounters and how it's different from the more traditionally halo flashback encounters.
What was really shocking is to see how the game plays up close, it actually really great.

they show some of the map, setting waypoints and that there is 4 player co-op.
New official maps, maybe a couple new weapons or equipment...
