It'd be an awesome feature if MS allowed a user to broadcast music to other users who tuned in.
Like If I'm in a party with some friends and one of them has a large music collection on his Xbox and has it playing constantly he could broadcast it to his friends in game.
Then you could also have guest DJ events and stuff too, or even full radio channels like on di.fm
odd, I don't have an iphone and there's been no exclusive game that makes me want to have one. For 'conquering' the game market they've done a really, really poor job.
He's a better title. How about "how apple BS'd the media into thinking th iphone/ipod touch is a game console".
1. There's been a shift to the way console manufactures plan to operate the consoles. It's not the same 4-5 year life, expect things into the 6-8 year range. This means pricing strategies will shift to accommodate it.
2. there's still a recession going on, no matter what the prices on the console, consumer goods will always take a drop in sales.
I've a qx6850 and dual 4870's in crossfire, I get about the same results in 1920x1200 at everything full, and I've been doing so since crysis warhead was out.
Most companies are still using XP, if they haven't upgraded to vista why would they use win7?
The concept seems to imply a sense of cinematic flare by having the camera move in a non linear fashion. That doesn't bold well for use in a game like a pure tps game because of the need for precise aim and understanding of the environment. Maybe more of a TPS MMO?
My guess is around $120 but it will come with a free game, and a years subscription to live.
Nintendo did pretty much the same thing with wii-fit.
Well, the difference between halo 3 and R2 is already relatively small.

Actually the Xenos is the R500, and was developed in partnership between microsoft and ATI to utilize feature that were supposed to be in DX10 such as tessellation and shader model 4.0.

The card is actually DX9+ capable featuring some lowerlevel dx10 features and is the basses for the r600 series of cards made by ATI including the Radeon HD 3800. The card also featur...
no cry-engine? bad list.
why not? I'd love to know.
if you weren't so wrong.
You posted nothing that proves you're right. Where I've provided direct proof that the 360 is capable of tessellation a feature that's represented in this article.
The card features the ability to do tessellation with it being built into the card.
Tell us, why is it impossible for the xenos to do tessellation.
Except it features a bit more AA, which is pretty much the only thing i think the game could really use.
Halo 3 isn't an ugly game by any stretch but it had some awful AA. The engine is designed for large open maps, and several enemies. Halo 3's the storm and floodgate is estimated as 20km - 30km maps and can feature over 25 enemies at once, more if you include the flood. (and not the fake ones like in gears)
"The GPU is equipped with an extra feature which is not part of the current DirectX 10.0 specification. It contains programmable tessellation units, similar to those within the [xbox 360] Xenos GPU (codenamed "C1") also developed by ATI."

Wouldn't that same story justify incest?
DOA:XBV is all about how straight 'zack' is.
Most of the comments related to the first comment(this one included) has nothing to do with gaming, the article at hand or have any real thought put into them... It's mostly just rhetoric.
Most of the games I play the characters are gay... well, not gay but they're not straight either. 90% of the games I play the character has no noticeable sexual preference so I don't see a point to the article.
Although I think if in mirror's edge if she(the main character) was trying to save her estranged lesbian lover instead of her sister then the player would feel a lot more emotion(good or bad) towards the character. Not only that I think there would be a more well rounded ...
I think they're too involved.
Games like halo and cod4 sold so well because of their online which is really pick-up and play.
JRPGs require a lot more time and many people just don't have that time to play a really long and involved story like the ones in JRPGS.
