It's character models look better then 90% of the games out there. Not to mention the shear number of characters on screen with no slowdown, and the amount of post processing effects like vignetting, film grain, contrast and saturation.

I've never once while playing l4d looked at the game and thought it didn't look like a nex...
I like the gametype they created, it's almost like CTF in racing. Except the flag is a car and at the same time you need to protect your car. I wonder if you include full damage whether you can attempt to demolish the opposing car before he reaches the finish line.
I wonder if togue and other game-mods will be available aswell.
also, 10 new screenshots released

It might be DOA.
But I don't think they own the publishing rights that bioware had developed with MS on the original before the aquisition to EA.
and "The title, which has to remain under wraps with us for the time being, will be released towards the end of the year."
I'm not holding my breath, it very well might be the original ME but i doubt it.
but everything is considered a "popular favorite" when it's being 'stolen'.
Like when the 360 stole the "popular favorite" ace combat or SO4.
Left 4 dead has been rather explicity stated as an exclusive and the original mass effect has publishing rights by MS.
So my guess is S04 or some other JRPG or a game we already figured was coming to the ps3 but has now been confirmed like lost planet 2.
killzone isn't better...
you think killzone is better just like i think halo 3 is better.
but yeah, I'm glad halo ODST is getting some quality treatment with it's voice actors.
No I'm basing this off of logic and current trends. People who believe in onlive are people believing in a pipe-dream and should come back down to reality.
Onlive is the phantom 2 and look at how far the original got.
Good look trying to play a game like DMC4 or streetfighter 4 or even assassins creed over onlive, half the time regular input with no lag still misses certain combinations or timing let alone what what will happen over a connection. And with games like dante's inferno, bayonetta, Castelvania, AC2 coming out it's not like there's only 1 game that might be affected.
And what about when the services or your provider are doing matainence and you're off line, you can't play any game...
or flushed packets?
How will online deal with these factors, specially with games that require percise timing.
It wont be viable for a while. There's just too low of an adoption of high-bandwith internet in europe and NA, let alone other countries. I doubt japan would have much of an interest with their recent turn to portable gaming.
I just don't see onlive, as a standalone service, ever panning out. Maybe if sony or MS decided to develop it as a payable service, it might work, but on it's own it wont.
motion capture tea bagging.
double the ram at ddr5 is more then enough, the speed of the ram is just as important as the size of the ram. If you have 4gigs of ddr3 you'll still see more pop-in than you would with 1gig of ddr5. And if you factor in that the ram is being shared between both the gpu and the cpu, the cost, and that consoles are specialized (the ps3 and xbox both have less total ram then most graphics cards) you'd have no need for more then 1gig. For example:
-The 700MHz GDDR3 RAM used by the ...
DX 10 was supposed to be but we can thank Nvidia for not supporting it.
70% of the new the features of DX11 were supposed ot be available in dx 10 however nvidia was having an extremely hard time developing a card using their current architecture that would support it so they threatened microsoft into what we have as DX10 today. And by threaten I mean they would no longer allow games that had nvidia support (all the 'the way it's meant to be played' games) run on vista, and eff...
1. large SSD around 128gb
2. multilayerd/custom HD-DVD or Blu-ray drive
3. double the ram at gddr5
4. 6 improved xenos cpu's
5. 2 improved xenon gpu's mounted with another 2 xenos cpu's on a single di each having a 64mb edram buffer (combined with the cpu capable of certain graphical functions, it would provide roughly an 5x-10x performance leap in terms of power depending on the improvemnts made on the hardware)

If he did direct the halo movie with peter jackson it would be sweet.
I've never seen a movie that blended reality and cgi to that degree.
But I have to agree that there are some problems with consistancy. Overall I really like the way the game looks, specially for a relatively large open world design.
It was like magic the gathering, meets street fighter, meets mechassault. To bad i always got beaten by japanese players online.
And a new jet set, panzer dragoon and phantom dust please.
the flashlight casts shadows on peopleif you shine it at them.
