really liked the first and third images. Something about the enviroments look stunning in the game.
I do think 0-60-0 or 0-100-0 is /THE/ best perfomance indicator and will gladly be using the drag-strip to test tuning set-ups against other players online.
That they continue to go out of their way to make false accusations about the 'drop' of quality in the game?
wasn't there another article by a similar site that used the new demo material and claimed it as being the old version, then used the older build and claimed it was the new version and the drop was due to the 360?
maybe someone could explain to me how any of that makes sense.
However I don't think I've ever seen a game where the effects of my actions have ever left an emotional impact afterward.
For something to have any real emmotional and there therefore moral consequences the effects have to be wide-reaching, withstanding and impactful. However in a videogame there's always an undo button, either load an old save or restart the game.
The second flaw is that morality isn't black and white, eg, stealing bread to save a starving family. In videogames the concept of moral choices almost always boil down to, "the easy and evil way" or the "harder but good ...
It's a year older, 'more exspensive'(after factoring in extra's), less powerful, and can't even play blu-ray movies and still selling better...
Most people like to jump on the newest technology...
See we can all spin.
But in reality the numbers are Shipped, not sold.
not sold to consumers.
Sold = shipped. As opposed to manufactured numbers.
I disagree.
In visor mode halo looks like nothing else on the market. It looks some some crazy mix up between ghost in the shell, lazertag and halo 3.
And that is awesome.
I hate games that try to be realistic, if I wanted realism from a game I'd go outside.
If the PS3 truely is the more powerful console then there should be no reason whatsoever that the 360 version is supperior. Last generation the xbox titles were appearntly more impressive then the ps2 from day one. Exclusives and Multiplatform games looked better, had higher resolutions, better aa, etc.
STALKER was the first game to feature deferred rendering and since then Crackdown, Dead Space, and GTA 4 all feature it as well as Killzone 2, LBP, Infamous, and Tabula Rasa.
I won't be buying junk for my avatar, just like I didn't on my home character or my second life avatar.
The only thing I'd ever pay for would be to import my own personal custom items, and even then I'd never pay more then $2.50 for it.
However, I'm excited to see how they implement the awards section.
The fact the game provides an openworld experience tends to lengthen a game via both replayability and exploration.
Knowing bungie there will be a ton of hidden things to find in the game, including the 75 voice recorders.
To me the best part of the game is that it's open world with co-op, I can't wait to search the city with 4 friends.
purely for the ability for someone to sticky other grenades. I wish other games had that type of physics on their projectiles. What I wouldn't give to be able to snipe rockets in tf2 or have the sticky pipe-bombs stick to players.
Honestly, so what if the ps3 isn't really as powerful as sony tried to make it seem? Who cares as long as the games look good and play good, and gets lots of support who cares if one has a higher frame-rate or slightly more AA or resolution.
Specially visually, they've done something to that engine and it shows, the character models look much better and the steam and smoke looks absolutely great.
Considering the vast amount of support carmack has for OpenGL, and the fact that it's the only API available on the ps3. The PC version is all opengGl since it's going to hit macs too... So it's funny that the only directx api version is out performing the ps3... speaks volumes.
Sold = sold to retailer.
in reality the article should read "MS shipped .01m more 360's then ps3's."
I'll be avoiding cod:mw2 for 3 reasons.
1. it's activision
2. I thought the original was boring except for the sniper mission.
3. the online was heavily flawed(way too much camping nade spam) & not enticing enough to pull me away from tf2 and halo3. I also found the online to be way to easy to rack-up points with minimal effort.
borderlands looks unique, interesting and fun, plus it's coming from a developers who's worked with both valve and bungie so w...
My most anticipated title this holiday.
