bandwith is dependent on your service provider, cable size, and you're internet usuage not on the console.
Microsoft actually developed the chip with ATI being the lead tech fab. There would be absolutely no reason for MS to drop the current gpu/cpu's to support something like the larabee. MS learned their mistake from the first time they partnered with intel and nvidia, and both companies kept the price of their parts artificially high and cost MS a fortune.

All 3 companies use sold to retail numbers (shipped). No one can fully track consumer sales. If MS/SNE/NIN used sold to consumer numbers there'd be no point for NDP, chart track or media crate numbers.
