pictures aren't at the proper resolution. But I guess people are looking for any reason whatsoever to tarnish this game.
Clearly the article is written to garner hits as there are a bunch of errors and odd greivences.
no odst, probably the second biggest FPS release this year after cod MW2.
gt5 still isn't confirmed to be released this year(speculation from retailers isn't confirmation).

like the mini games in zelda(bombachu/archery) & mario galaxy(ray surfing)? The extra challenges for wii sports/play? the stickers in SSB?
Or if fluff the fun stuff that keeps players coming back to games like tf2, halo 3 and cod4? Like great online with tons of different options...
You only have a ps3...
Just so you can claim you've done gay tony more then any other person.
But there a sense of 'je ne sais quoi' about the graphics which give it a vivid artstyle and clearly step away from realism.
The sky looks absolutely amazing.
For some people the wii is the best console they ever owned, and the only console.
Many people do think wii play is a better game then halo 3 and kz2.
Some people Do like the iphone more, and think it's better.
Titanic is some people favorite movie of all time.
While I'll agree that sales don't make a game good, however the free market tends to naturally devide the good products from the poor.
but I don't really like the fast-pace side of the game. Personally I like lengthy rts games focused on strategy. Halo wars seemed to be mainly about building the largest army as fast as possible and pushing in quickly to the enemy base.
However that being said, halo wars had the most mission variety out of any rts campaign I've ever played.
I hope they make a sequel that finds itself on both console and PC.
there are no PSP games in the top 40 and 1 PC game. The xbox has more games listed in the top 40 than the wii and the same ammount as the DS.
Overall nintendo has more then half of the top 40 games.

I agree with valve, MS needs to prove natal like nintendo did with Wii Sports, mario galaxy, LOZ, mario kart, metroid.
However, Natal is quite amazing because of it's ability to track full skeletal bodies in 3d space. Even if my arm is behind me, natal will know what my arm is doing because of how it calculates my skeletal structure. That's why natal is amazing. In the right hands, in hands eager to play with concepts and innovative ideas, natal can be amazing. Id love to see a g...
The power weapons in halo play an extremely important role in a winning battle, proper rotations to equipment weapons and powerups are 50% of the game.
take the pit, 2 teammates rush rockets another rush invis, the last one goes sniper then overshield, if the sniper can pick up the enemies rifle then it's an easy 5-10 point lead, if they can box in the opposing team and maintain control on the power weapons you can pull a victory by well over 25 points. And this is purely slaye...
I like how you only pointed out the ps3 games, I find it funny that someone as myself gets labeled a fanboy in other threads even though I make comments which use examples from both consoles to prove my point, yet someone as yourself can bubble boost and seem like a completely unbiased person here on this site. Even though you comments clearly show a particular defense for only one console.
Well, the games I listed feature either only multi-player or single player modes. Or in th...
gears of war 2 used the same engine as gears 1, new campaign mode, had the same multiplayer (however it doesn't work with gears 1), and added horde mode.
halo3:odst uses the same engine as halo 3, new campaign mode, has the same multiplayer as halo 3 (however it's backwards compatable with halo 3), added horde mode, and has the beta for halo reach.
to me that warrents it as more then what someone would pay for DLC. To me DLC worth $20 is the equivelent of the new...
people payed $40+ for less than half a game... gt5p, warhawk, socom confrontation, shadow run, bioshock, l4d.
And halo 3: odst has
-full, new campaign featuring co-op; expected to be at least 6 hrs.
-new multiplayer mode
-open world over map with hidden secrets and exploration... and the first game to feature 4 player open world co-op that I know of.
-full halo 3 multiplayer including all maps and a standalone disc
-3 new exclusive multiplayer...
you obviously know nothing about cars.
When a car is braking quickly then the tires compress against the ground.

it's called realism...
also the shot you posted is in a resolution beyond HD which leads me to believe it's a promotional shot and not an accurate example of what the game truely looks like.
halo is designed the way it was because of many reasons.
1 - the general design of the halo artifacts lend themselves to be good places to study living organism since the shape provides for a mixture between a classic dyson sphere and a planet, gravity can be easily manipulated via centripital force and it maintains more surface area whith less resources (ie cheaper to build). The ring structure provides many more observasion points.
2 - the design of the weapon ...
Where does a young romanian child get nanomachines before pubescense? If I remember correctly doesn't he get trapped under a cross in a burning church and lives purely off the blood of his parents? When did he get nanomachines before that which kept him alive.
Oh, and what about the whole arm-grafting thing from liquid to Oncelot? How does it go from the arm causing him to be possessed to self hypnosis and 'nanomachines'. Why even bother having him graft on the arm to begin wi...
nanomachines, nanomachines, nanomachines. Worse plot device ever.
then so is immersion considering choices serve the purpose to tie together a player and their character.
People can begin to relate more to a character when they have to decide the proper action in a situation and then have to face the consequences.
If i don't want choices in my rpg's then I'll go play an action adventure game. Rpg's have always been about choices, from weapons to parties to attacks, and finally story.
