Towards later on in the games life the use of martyrdom fell, and as a result there was less complaining about it.

It was towards the beginning that there was the problem, literally everyone had martyrdom and so pulling off 2 kills usually led to at least one death via a dropped grenade.

at least in my experience.

I love the jetpack and bubble shield perks on cod4. Bit over powered though.

Hell, they've added new game types, new armor abilities, character customizations, loadouts, 'active rosters'(whatever that is), new weapons, new vehicles, and a whole lot we don't even know about.
what has goow3 done new moves, some new combo's? Right It's goow 2, with better graphics, is that a bad thing? no, but it's nothing we haven't seen before.

My god this site is getting ridiculous. It's not even a goow article, I wish certain people would leave these articles alone...

because goow 3 was just god of war 2 HD, I saw it before, twice, and then again in clones like dante's inferno, it was just a visual bump, nothing new and outstanding. Halo reach on the other hand looks to expand on new mechanics introduced in halo 3 and odst, and that's on top of halo 3's online functionality which have yet to be met by any game.

I love prince of persia, and I the artwork and vistas in that game were stunning. By far one of my favorite looking games this generation.

This one seems to be just as impressive, and I'm loving the introduction of new puzzle mechanics, like the water. It was something I found to be missing in the first trilogy.

good job ubisoft. You're still my favorite large independant publisher.

It would be extremely difficult to play a game like portal with natal, interesting to try, but near impossible to accomplish.

milo and kate is based off of seaman for the dreamcast. Contrary to popular belief on this site, sony isn't always first to produce things. And IIRC they actually showed milo and kate, prior to sony showing eyepet.

It's the size of each developer that becomes important.

A development team of 20 can't create and develop as many games as a development team of 200.

the second thing is that if you have a development team dedicated to the creation of IP's then you can easily farm out those IP's for development by outside studios. PGR is a good example. This method is also how nintendo works, both highly renown franchises like legend of zelda and metroid have had outside developers p...

hopefully Microsoft can back that up.

you don't think sony hasn't released games during large MS exclusives to steal focus.

Hell, look at their goow3 trailer, released same day as x10.

the vibe I get from halo reach is very tribes, and I'm extremely fine with that.

well, not the AI part, that's just plain wrong. The most advanced videogame AI to date is still recorded as bing the creature in black and white. It features the largest library of conditional code. Not only that, halo has always been praised on it's AI, where as I still laugh when hellgahst jump over the wrong side of a barrier to get 'cover' and end up turned the wrong direction and stuck against a wall.

But graphics on the other-hand are subjective. People will like different ...

Specially the more polished stuff, looks right up there with the best of it. Especially for the amount of stuff that happens on screen.

But, it's the gameplay that's really the hook, halo 3 is as popular as ever and beta excitement builds, more people log on. I can't wait to see what the community does with the new features.

you do know that's not actually an xbox fanboy, but someone pretending to be one as to make them look worse in comparison.
