Losing hope in some of the article posters and the increased frequency of these intentially unpopular hypothetical theories.
Perhaps what a lot of us aren't considering is the 'relativity' of the game's success. Mild success numbers for a game like Ni No Kuni II would likely be considered a flop for a game meant to be a cornerstone to a console—like Sea of Thieves is supposed to had have been for XBOX One.
If you compare how Sea of Thieves would have had been regarded—SALES NUMBERS [not Game Pass]—by the industry had it been a critical success, to how it was ACTUALLY received, ...
PlayStation to PS2 was just over five years and a couple months. PlayStation 2 to PS3 was six+ years.
Good call. The virtual reality race is gearing up for the next-generation with VIVE and Oculus. PlayStation 5 will need significantly built-up specs to keep up.
The 'wheel' Sony has invented with the PlayStation family of systems seems quite fine-tuned and efficient. Changing the "concept" all-together seems unnecessary—and dangerous.
Now that PlayStation finally made the big move to the X86 chip architecture most of the differences made to next-generation will be mainly specs. Other than going from 4GB DDR5 to maybe 16GB or 24GB DDR6 and of course the APU upgrade nothing scream-worthy will jump off the page to mo...
Because the "PlayStation Fan" wanted to write a seemingly unlikely article for it's 'click appeal.'
Never ceases to amaze me how many individuals resort to being disingenuous just to get attention.
Below average. 69 on Metacritic.
Impressive.
@EmperorDalek
Regardless rather you can or cannot see the games offered on Gamespass through the XBOX the fact that it's even discussed as being ambiguous is a problem.
Netflix does the same thing—or at least used to.
Of course it is. What kind of illogical drivel is this?
It's like if GameStop had a membership-based new games' trial plan for ten bucks a month, and then had a major game land that received huge criticism. A lot of gamers are going to try it out before potentially throwing away close to an entire Benjamin on it.
This choosing-to-ignore-facts crowd is certainly laying it on thick. Though, I guess they have to, considering how big of a stink-pile t...
This is the funniest piece of ironic news all week. It's like Microsoft and Hello Games are trolling themselves, well, after the "No Man's Sea" jokes and all. Had to check the calendar to make sure it wasn't already April first.
Why does one of us put this divisive, instigating drivel on here? Same kind of crap that happened with the moron who suggested repealing the second amendment: Just a way to keep division between two groups of people because it gives the idiot who started it a feeling of gross and imaginary power.
Please can we have this story unapproved?
This is just another marketing trick trying to keep attention going. A manipulation of the numbers to make it seem like a success. Let's all meet here in two months and discuss how well it's selling.
Heck of a season pass line-up. Pair that with the Far Cry 3 remaster that comes with that premium Far Cry 5 version and it's unquestionably a no-brainer unless you're just short on funds.
Side note: Anyone else notice that the white flowers in this game are based on actual hallucinogenic flowers known as Angel Trumpets? Vice did a story on the use of the plant in Brazil—I think it was—where it is used as a mind-control substance on tourists and some locals.
The one thing that could change my mind amd finally break me into giving Hello Games my money....
Travel in hundreds of thousands of galaxies in virtual reality? Yeah, that'd probably do it.
Been reading this comment splattered here and there on a few different articles. You can absolutely compare Far Cry 5 and Sea of Thieves together when determining a myriad of topics about quality. It's what happens every year when a Game of the Year award is rewarded to one game out of the entire industry that year.
VR compatible you say?.....hmmm, [taps tips of fingers from each hand together in an ordered fashion] 👐
@Neonedr
I kind of have been thinking the same thing about getting new games. I feel like I get two great games, and play one; get two more great games, and only play one. If I don't start prioritizing which great games are the greatest I might end up never getting to play some of the especially superb titles.
The Last Guardian has been waiting on me on my shelf since it released. Same with Dishonored 2 and Deus Ex: Making Divided. And I won't eve...
With you. It's like the person that will laugh when jokes are being told about everyone else but is ready to throw 'bows when the joke's on him.
This country has gotten a hundred times more confrontational and critically defensive in the past ten-to-fifteen years. So many are ready to go to fists if you look at them the wrong way. It's coming to a head though. The dam is about to break.
Beautiful graphics and an equally beautiful, and believable take of the relatively near future.
