Halo 4 could possibly be a next Xbox game, though the time frame is a bit overextended ( 2010-2011 ), but Gears 3 I see it much more as 360 swan song. It could be the other way though.
But what I think is that MS will use one for the 360 system and the other for the next one.
Even a beta stirs controversy here, funny the criticism and funny the attitude of "if I dont have a beta, no worries, I didnt even want it."

Fall begins 21 September, ends 21 December, so Novemeber is just about the middle, not late really, late would be almost Xmas.

I dont like the commercial really, reminds me of some other "smart" ads some other companies have used that usually creep me.
For the casual market the Nintendo "corny" ads are much better in my opinion.
The best thing about this ad, is that it is the first and there is wide room for improvement.

The DRM is bad, but not as bad as is being spread by people who have not bought the game, if you read articles of people messing with the DRM, you find it being mucho morte lenient that thought, not good, but not as bad.
And a moderator being fed up with people discussing a topic over and over and over and over and over again, is just normal human reaction.

By the way I dont believe you ever played Halo 1 for example, at its time, 2001, or Halo 2 in 2004, or Halo 3 right now.

Halo got right on spot all the basics of console FPS before they even existed ( Goldeye excluded ), two main weapons instead of an arsenal, vehicles, and just 30 seconds of intense fun ...
I agree with that, but, not having dedicated servers has some advantages, such as not losing the online aspect of a game when the servers close, or suffer a serious quality degradation in just a few months time ( EA, yes, you! ). Having the ability to play with people out of your continent ( dedicated servers usually go US, Europe, Asia ), and, um, and... well I just cannot think of more right now hehe.
Or six or seven or more!!

True, every single piece of news is taken over to the same arguments, free Xbox Live, Microsoft is the devil, RROD, great PS3 lineup again and again and again.

There are several games with dedicated servers on the 360, Left 4 Dead will have then for example.
Also, only some games in PSN have dedicated servers, do not know where people get these ideas that on one platforma everything goes on dedicated and on the other it doesnt.
Most played game on PSN I believe is CoD4, it hasnt got dedicated servers.

IF Blu Ray fails as a format all Sony Corp is in trouble including Sony Computer, such a huge investment for nothing does have its importance. Well they were the ones selling commercial CDs with a Rootkit inside, so it shows how dettached they are with the consumer about DRM.

Yeah a company should leave alone its main franchise, come on, sure most CEOs in the world will do.
What I love about Bungie is that htey continue to support their games in an awwesome way even one year after release, they care about the community, they constantly are changing thigs, eliminating glitches, bugs etc.
Instead Infinity Ward need almost a year for changing playlists and still ha snot solved many issues CoD4 ( I love it by the way, but that is the truth ).
Epic would not bother with any issues and bugs on the multiplayer side of Gears.

Well precisely the UK is the main market in Europe, it adds up more than France, Germany, Spain and Italy almost, so Microsoft can afford not making so much of an impact in the Netherlands for example if they maintain the UK and some decent sales in some other markets.
