Well some games in PS3 ane more expensive, you have Qoure for paying for demos and other stuff, the price of some DLC is mopre expensive, reality is that you end up paying, difference is that Ms makes it upfront and Sony is a bit more stealthy.
Most of his comments are applicable to every single online FPS out there.
Cheaters, rude people, lag, repetitive gameplay, map packs, etc.
Just felt like bashing Halo, it is fashionable but not necessarily true.
@eric100
Yeah, and Sony has stock of Square Enix and we all know it does fare right now for them.
It is so silly how people in this site spin as flame bait the most innocent and trivial of news.
Microsoft always takes care of consumers when it messes upm true it mesess more than should but always comes up with a compensation.
We all know MS has no worthy games coming out in 2009, at least that is what my fellow n4g members constantly say ;-)
@Genesis5
Just wanted to point oout that Sony is not such electronics top brand, not bashing PS3 here guys, saying that if you want a top TV you go to Pioneer, a top A/V Amplifier, Denon, Yamaha, Marantz, top speakers KEF, B&W of even higher, videocams or photo Canon Nikon, there are many many higher and better brands in electronics specially audio & video, Sony is ubiquitous and has powerful brand value, due mainly to loads of quality products inthe 80s, but those time...
It is the way Sony likes doing things, promise big, get people excited, and then well, sometimes it hits big and others is just marketing with no real substance.
And I personally am fed upwith so much gritty style and desaturated color palettes, all games seem clonical, Halo is the ony one that sands out as something different in all these games trying to be realistic, even though they are no more realistic than Halo.
True.
Hey huge surprise, a company looking to make a profit!!!
Whoa, never even thought about that, I thought companies as Sony are in the business for charity or artistic reasons...
How confused I was...
What did Nintendo fans did before?
It is in their DNA, but worry not, in theory Sony has a stake in SE stock, so it is impossible for them tojust forget about the PS3.
I feel like that this rumor is bogus, I see in my little crystal ball the word RECON, ummmm...
Come on, poor little MegaCorp Sony, its them getting the bad end always. Same as when they installed Rootkits on their commercial music CDs, it is that people just dont understand them...
Looks cool, but I dont understand the reason of postponing this stuff from E3 to TGS, this way it seems a bit underwhelming. Also for an expansion looks a bit far away.
Spring would have been much more logical.
Perhaps they have a bias against Sony because of how Sony has treated them, there was a scandal about some news stuff and how Sony threatened Kotaku.
And by the way, bias is not the main issue for a site doing better or worse, that is wishful thinking.
Different kind of commercial, I liked it even though I am of those who prefer actual gameplay ads.
I sense some kind of relation with all MGS ads, ie Fable, Mass Effect, Halo 3 and Gears, they seem to try and appeal to real emotions, intimacy, hard decisions, loss, sacrifice, they are in some level quite similar.
I totally agree, cannot understand why nudity is such a big deal but glorified gore and violence is ok. Fallout 3 or Gears 2 are extremely violent or gory no prob, then comes Mass Effect with a timid pseudo lesbian love scene and the media go on fire, hypocresy to the max, when a teenager is far more probable seeing nudity in any party than brains being blown out.
Each site has momentum one way or the other, quality has nothing to do, fanboyism does not consider those subtleties.
About the film, awesome, but saw it in a 37 incher and sincerely difference was not so appealing as when I saaw it in a 60 incher, obviously, I know, but just pointing it out to devote believers.
Another bad point is that my standalone player gets nuts with the movie, it makes it crash if you do not do things slowly and carefully, I will update th...
This is ancient news, the original article said how Don was having dinner or lunch with some journalists and in an informal and causal half joking way said that it was him who invented Avatars.
So Europe Nintendo gets the news, loses all nuance, spins the title and hits back making him an arrogant fool, when it is something said in a relaxed atmosphere and in a joking way.
Of course, perfect flame bait for n4g.
