This shows why AC:Unity performed better on the Xbox One, a CPU bottleneck exists just as the developer stated and the XB1 has a more powerful one. Games that are CPU limited will be better on the Xbox One. If a game isn't CPU limited it'll be better on PS4.

Downgrade. All that clothing went from intricate, detailed, decorative, and hi-res down to simple, lower resolution, and bland. The light casting shadows under the eyebrow have disappeared. Brick and cement textures are all lower resolution. Gun the guy on the left is holding is noticeably less detailed. Skin color went from flesh to corpse. Guy on the left has his face go from detailed to mush. Fog added to mask all of the above.
I would surrender that this is not the best w...
I play PC games but am not a PC elitist. I would like someone to build a $350-400 computer though that will be capable of playing 2018-2019 latest games in any fashion. The PS4/Xbox One will, and they will run them, with better graphics and performance than the games out now. You'll be lucky to even play those games on a $350-400 PC in a few years, and certainly not at their best. Hell, almost $100 has to be dedicated to windows operating system alone, and you can't really do much wit...
The real question is why is it coming to X360? Time to move on guys, time to move on...
Simple. The 150 million PS2 users who were let down by the awful PS3 have been dying to get their hands on a new PlayStation in hopes that it is better than the PS3. PS3 was only able to get a little over 50% of the sales the PS2 had. Considering how much gaming has grown over the past few years there were also a ton of new gamers who passed on the PS3 as well. Playstation lost a lot of users last generation.
PS2: 150M -> PS3: 80M
Xbox: 25M -> X360: 80M

Don't feel bad, PS3 was not nearly as good as PS1/2. I owned tons of PS2 games but in a whole generation of PS3 I owned 4. Great media player though, I still use it since my PS4 is incapable.
"I can't imagine what these consoles will be like by the end of 2016"
Well if the progress since launch is any indication, Xbox is gonna have a ton of new features and you still won't be able to tell if you have a launch PS4 or one with the latest updates.
I'd love ripping any of Nintendos overrated characters limb from limb so they all work for me.
You could also say PC elitists are stuck in a cycle of buying overpriced hardware to play games that just really aren't that good, and getting slightly better looking multiplatform games. I play PC games too but if I had to give one up I would give up my gaming PC well before I ever gave up my Xbox.
I spent about $2000 building my gaming PC. Are the games worth the price of admission? No. I have enough disposable income that it doesn't matter but I get way more enjoy...
If it is true gaming has hit an all time low at $20/hr...
Nothing like starting the first 10 minutes of a game with half a dozen or more QTE's, turns out the rumors are very true. Only watched part 1 but it looks pretty lame.
It is best compared to Ryse, it is a good looking game with mediocre gameplay. People aren't moving onto other games dude because Bloodborne and Uncharted don't deserve the criticism, this game does, just accept it, it isn't the amazing game you think it is going to be.
Yeah, I just got one and i love being able to color code keys in games like ARMA 3 that use every key on the keyboard, helps out a ton.
Once windows 10 blends PC and Xbox gaming the Steam machine will be irrelevant, before it even really started.
Steam machines are just PC's in a mini-case and jacked up in price, a horrible choice in all situations. If you don't want a gaming PC next to your TV or dont have room just get a $150 wireless HDMI transmitter and you are good to go. Now you have a more powerful Steam machine and you paid a fraction of the price.
Yeah going to pick this up, great idea.
"Major Nelson We Can’t Just Flip A Switch For Xbox One DRM"
on to say
"A couple months later Microsoft completely took back all the DRM policies"
So a couple months is flipping a switch? It seems pretty obvious time was dedicated to changing this and the OS at launch suffered because of it, and likely many features we have now would probably have been there on launch day had they not wasted time working out how to stay bac...
Really? This is gaming news? Take it down.

"Played @TheOrder1886 in our movie theater for a while, because I can. ;) Still blows my mind. Play it on the BIGGEST screen you can. :)"
— Andrea Pessino (@AndreaPessino) February 6, 2015
Maybe had you put it in the standard aspect ratio playing on the biggest screen possible wouldn't be a requirement. Instead you threw out 1/3 of the available pixels an HDTV has to display.
I'd play more skyrim simply if i had more time. No remaster required, just work on the next game.
The game has been receiving criticism ever seems people got to start playing it months ago nothing new here. It'll grab a couple 9's from some fanboy sites but I'm sure the meta ends up I a 6.5-7.5 range. That doesn't mean people wont have fun with it though. Ryse took the same flak but it was fun to play through once.
