I own 2 games for my PS4, and 10 for my Xbox One, so I'd say no. It will turn to a yes the day media functionality is restored to the PS4. That is what I used most on my PS3, and bought the PS4 figuring all that functionality and more would be in it, which isn't the case... yet.
Either make a kick ass SOCOM, or give the original 3 games a spectacular remaster. It's really the only franchise I care about on Playstation, and its good enough franchise I'd buy the...
Definitely nice, the PS4 UI is a mess compaired to the X1. Gonna be nice to have a little organizational customization finally. More than anything though, I want media functionality to make its way to both the X1 and PS4 - sooner rather than later. I used that stuff on last generation consoles at least as much as I gamed on them.

Agreed, Destiny will be out 2 months prior. Once CoD comes out all us Destiny players are going to be switching over to the Master Chief Collection anyways. Should be an article about Halo Rereleases stealing CoD's thunder.
I've been a little underwhelmed in my first play through. Probably about 2-3 hours in. Game is solid, I'd give it 8/10, but it is easily the most overrated game I've ever played. All of those GotY awards should have gone to GTAV.
The most gorgeous console game ever released about to get more beautiful? Sweet, not a game I'd buy twice though, enjoy PC gamers.
Didn't read the article but I've found this to be accurate. Hadn't turned my PS4 on since February until last week when Last of Us Remastered came out. PS4 really needs its PS3 media functionality to return.
Definitely a closing gap and not a widening one.
I also own both but am on the Xbox way more than my PS4. Literally the first time I've had my PS4 on since February is when last of us remaster came out last week, thats about 6 months that I really didn't need to own my PS4. Everything is just done better on the Xbox, minus a few framerate/resolution discrepancies.
The colors look great, now if only they could give us better sticks and triggers.

You guys must be stoned, I own the game and it looks exactly like what it is, a last gen game up-res'd and double the frame rate. It doesn't look as good as most of the current gen games, maybe the indies.
Personally for me it's the Last of Us remaster. It hasn't lived up to the hype and mass of GotY awards. It's not a BioShock that is for sure. Apparently it's just me though.

I have had this happen on occasion, but it isn't common by a long shot. I can probably count the times it has happened to me on one hand and I've used the console daily since it was released. Sensational article. A much bigger problem for me is my Playstation 4's UI pretty much consisting of one big line that presents all my games and apps with no discretion of what is shown or in what order.
Hasn't Microsoft come in last place every generation? That doesn't mean they don't have awesome consoles... I own both systems and while I use my X1 every day, just this week is the first time my PS4 has been turned on since February to play (gasp!) a last generation game remaster that I skipped last gen.
I'm sorry but processor speed does mean something, ask anyone who knows anything about processing power lol. Why do you think PC's get overclocked, if it didn't mean anything people wouldn't bother. This is something where updates to Sony's API/DX12/Cloud Power should really show their benefits.

I just bought this game and I don't see what the big deal is. I played to the point where you meet the little girl, stopped yesterday, and don't really have any desire to pick it back up. Seems this game is highly overrated. Maybe it gets better but the hour or two I've played have been underwhelming. Maybe the incredible hype and all the GotY awards have set my expectatio...
I picked it up today and I'm pretty underwhelmed. I got to the part you meet the little girl, and I really don't feel like I have any reason to go back to playing it - I'm pretty sure all those GotY award reviewers are full of s***.
I agree it definitely isn't a remaster in the same way Halo 2 anniversary is. I was so sick of the last generation when this game came out so I skipped it, but I'm gonna head to the store now and pick this up and play it for the first time in its best form. About how long is this game?
Lots of great games coming out over the next year, but nothing has me more excited than the Master chief collection. I'll be picking up half a dozen games before years end but I'm sure a vast majority of my game time will be spent in halo and 1 or 2 of the games probably won't even make it out of the packaging until next year.
still on the fence about evil within and alien isolation, gonna have to see the reviews and users opinions before I buy either.
