Delays generally result in a higher quality game in the end. My only gripe is that they show off these visually stunning games, and then they get pushed back over and over and by the time they release they look about the same as all the other games coming out at the same time. Like The Division is going to be far less graphically stunning when it finally releases.
True game of the year? Seriously? This game was on everyones "Most disappointing" list last year, have people forgot that already?
Any multiplayer achievement that keeps players from playing multiplayer correctly doesn't need to be in the game.
@Anthotis
Lol right? 18,000,000,000,000,000,000 planets and not a single reason to visit any of them. Game is destined for greatness or total disappointment, and it's the second option, guaranteed. A game where you don't actually do anything. Sounds fun... I'd take 10 well thought out and designed planets with a reason to visit over the true number of procedurally generated ones.
I feel like this game is more of an experiment than anything, it wil...
No way. I think the game was solid, I would rate an 8/10. But the accolades it received were ridiculous. It did everything well for the most part but there was nothing new about it, just a third person stealth shooter. Characters were forgettable. I went in playing remastered on PS4 I never bought the original, so I went in with astronomical expectations - after all, I should have with 200+ GotY awards and super high scores from everywhere right? I was not impressed. Quality game, but far fro...
I'm staying away from the vids now, got it pre-purchased and queued for download. We'll see if it is this or Borderlands that wins the midnight launch battle in my household.
On second thought, I've never preordered a game off of PSN. At least on the Xbox One, games are available to play at midnight eastern time, can anyone tell me how it is handled on PS4?
Me neither, already downloaded on my Xbox, just waiting for it to let me play...
Confirmation we arent seeing God of War 4 any time soon lol...
Looks exactly like the PS3 version to me, I'm having trouble finding where "remaster" comes in. A resolution bump is a video setting and 60 FPS is just faster processing....
Dear SSM, thinking about doing a remaster? See: Halo Master Chief Collection
That really is poor, I doubt those are real comparison shots. If they are real and at a $40 price point, they have some explaining to do...
After the glory of Master Chief Collection you don't dare charge $60 for a single game remaster lol, even $40 is $10-20 too much.
Didn't really like the game, felt like childs play after hundreds of hours in the Ninja Gaiden series, just waaaay to easy even on hardest mode.
Metal gears gameplay was always fun, but the ludicrous story and insane amount of cut scenes really ruined the games for me. If they can get a group of developers together that can continue with great gameplay and drop all that frivolous story crap and give us a nice and simple "bad guy wants to take over the world" story I think they will really take the series to a new level of awesome and reach a much wider audience.
How bout you explain to us why you are still making intercoolers and not pioneering interesting, new, worthwhile peripherals Chris?
Asking for a game boycott right there. Better lower your sales expectations for MLB 15 now Sony...
I would have made it a babality that the quitter had to watch, then lock them out of multiplayer for a few minutes.
Definitely better than nothing though
If it was up to me this is where I would have reinstated the Babality. Turn the quitter into a whiny baby while he has to watch and then return him to the main menu with a 5 minute lockout from multiplayer that increases with a trend of quits.
No, the Cops n Robbers and broken beyond playability at launch of BF4 stole Hardlines thunder.
We don't want you throwing on the Battlefield stamp to sell more copies of your game that isn't a true Battlefield title, and we don't trust you to put out a product that works.
It's not a risk when you consider PC has the most users. Make the game the best it can be, if that means DX12 needs to be taken advantage of then by all means do it. Much bigger risk to not use DX12 when the majority of systems will be able to benefit from it.
More likely it'll be a good thing. Bungie left Halo to go make crappy games and 343 stepped in and redeemed Halo after crap game Reach.
Hopefully Kojima leaves, goes onto making crap games, someone steps in and makes Metal Gear Solid have a coherent story and all is well in the world again lol...
Honestly you can't blame people who want to move onto other things and not get stuck making the sequels to their games for all eternity.
not when i checked yesterday, did say that was the size though
Hope they are sold individually. Never played Asylum so I'd pick that up for the right price but I don't have any desire to do City again.
Also strange they are coming out after Knight, I would think they would want them out beforehand to get some hype going.
