Also going to help reduce the time it takes to move the games from a PC development stage to actual Xbox hardware. Less time spent in that process means more time spent on content, quality, and optimizations.
It's their video game and they can do whatever they want. If you want to make a video game and depict a female in another light go ahead and do so. Go cry somewhere else. Don't like it don't buy it.
Han Solo is a smuggler, a game like Uncharted wouldn't make any sense. I suppose since Disney pulled a douche move and threw out the entire extended universe, the only stuff that holds true is what we've seen in 6 films, so they can do whatever they want now. Though any time a conflict arrives I'm gonna go ahead and say Disney is contradicting Star Wars fiction.
Anyone who thinks DX12 won't provide any benefits to the X1 is incompetent.
Sorry but there has always been a ton of space games, it's not like this is the birth of the sci-fi genre. Your article is quite pointless. Tons of them are also terrible, and likely a lot of these new ones will be too. I can't believe I helped fund Star Citizen, that games a POS. Every future review for Star Citizen: "Over-hyped and under-delivered" or "It's Destiny all over again!"
There is a major difference. PS4 feels like a last generation console. That's why it sits in the closet until good exclusives come out - last one I played was Last of Us, be getting Bloodborne next.I don't have room for another console in my setup and im not leaving it on the floor, so back in its box it goes. The Xbox One however unified my entire home theatre/entertainment setup, and clearly feels like a fresh, new, and next-level experience.

I think one thing can be said by everyone, 500GB HDD's were not even close to ideal for this generation. Base models should have started at 2TB and increased over the generation.
I just store apps on my Xbox internal hard drive. I got a 2TB external for storing my game catalog and a 256GB SSD external for the handful of games I'm rotating playing currently.
Illumiroom was never practical, you would need to purchase like 6 projectors to use it, a multi-thousand dollar investment. Cool stuff, but that is not something a consumer would purchase, and would be better suited for a different setting like a theme park, family entertainment center or something like that.
I only played 1 and 2 and they were both totally not funny. Luckily the gameplay was great and I could overlook the "we-are-trying-too-hard-t o-be-funny" humor. They definitely need no writers.
Was looking the whole time for Ninja Gaiden B/2, thought it was a BS list, until of course, it appeared as number 1.
Halo is fantastic. Great campaigns. I don't much care for the multiplayer anymore, but thats just because I suck. I used to be a Halo God back in the day but now sitting at 30 I'm a grandpa in the gaming world, I just can't compete anymore. That being said H2 was my biggest video game addiction I've ever had, over 6000 games logged. I was a beta tester for Xbox Live so I had been online for a while, but Halo 2 is where everybody got Xbox Live. Everybody. And when you hopped on...
An article simply based on copy/paste of Phil Spencer's twitter feed. In related news, DualShockers hits an all time low.
Hell I get banned here all the time because you aren't allowed to criticize the PS4 without being marked for trolling.
2-4 player coop should be included in almost every game.
You are high if you don't think coop would be beneficial to Elder Scrolls and Fallout titles.
Gonna receive this years "most disappointing" award after last years Destiny. A vast universe lacking gameplay. I've never understood the allure to this game. Procedurally generated content sucks in general, and we really have yet to see anything but a spaceship flying into and out of atmospheres. It's possible I could be wrong but from what has been shown of this game I have no idea why people think it is going to be amazing, it looks boring as hell.

Yeah, honestly can't be worse than it already is, go ahead and sign me up
Practically making the SteamBox and PS4 irrelevant in a single day, keep up the good work Microsoft, I'm gonna be able to take my home entertainment setup to the next level with these technologies, the future never looked brighter!
Too bad Obama's State of the Union was last night, he'd have a lot cooler stuff to talk about had he waited until tonight.
PC + X1 finally come together to become the best combo of platforms to play on, fantastic news and I already know I will be using this. This may even change the way I run my entertainment setup, I'd better hit the drawing boards so I can make the most out of this.
Great news from Microsoft today, really makes my PS4 look like a last gen machine.
Just be ready for the 6-7/10 scores. Basically the same things have been said about this game since the public got its hands on it, minus a few fanboys.
