Agree with you there mike. I also have been chiming for a new WWII game. If it is good I'll have no problem picking this up, but there are so, so many ways they can mess this up.
Just remember, no kill streaks, extremely limited customization, extremely limited perks.

Also predicting Evolve is going to be disappointing, Star Citizen (never live up to its hype) and No Man's Sky (when everybody realizes it's a massive universe void of gameplay). Metacritic should have no outcome on someones income. That is the problem. Metacritic is a fairly valuable system to consumers and doesn't really need to change. Whomever is writing checks based on what metacritic says is the one in the wrong.
I'm interested to see what the final game looks like. The photo-realism bar isn't set all that high when the game consists of a hallway.
