I don't mind it, my first gripe with the game is the second boss battle. I have to load in from dying, then spend 3 minutes running back over to fight the guy. There is about 20 guys between me and that point, but you're stoned if you think I would fight those guys all just to get to the boss battle and die again anyways. It doesn't make the game challenging, it's a waste of my time. It is poor game design pure and simple. I should be able to just keep trying to fight the boss...
I felt like enemies were getting harder because of insight even though I only have 6, didn't seem like i needed to hit 15 but maybe im just imagining they are harder.
Guarantee 100% PC has more exclusives than the PS4. Prove me wrong.
Yeah my game mentioned I shut down the system improperly. Luckily I didn't lose any progress but I wasn't very far anyways, would have just started over and tried out a new weapon. You learn a lot in the first couple hours so you'd probably do much better starting over with a clear understanding of mechanics and knowing where to go and what to do anyways if you did lose your save.
I love the game, but I'm glad to see a review with an honest opinion of someone who didn't like it. Seems like everyone who submitted reviews on metacritic loved it, and that's just not a realistic representation of what the gaming community as a whole thinks. Some people are going to hate this game, period.
This is why I find metacritic baffling with this game and the Souls games in general. Of all the critics, 50/50 gave it positive reviews. Where is the one guy like this who reviewed it and didn't like it? Plenty of other games get reviews all over the spectrum but it seems only fans of souls games review souls games. The 8.9 user score is a little closer to reality than 93 the critics give it (though it's really just 8 perfect scores holding it at a 93, apparently some people think it...
@Orange - its called metacritic user score lol. Still a great source, nothing wrong with metacritic.
Even though I am leveling up, enemies don't seem to be getting much easier. Are enemies leveling up with me (I hope not), or the other guess of mine is that I'm gaining insight, which makes enemies harder. Anyone know? Or am I just crazy. For the record i am now level 15, up from 10, and still fighting the exact same enemies in the same exact area, im not just fighting...
I wish my Xbox would let me do the controller customization, that feature rocks. Not really interested in all the other stuff, still no DLNA sucks. PLEX would be great if it was free, but it isn't. It's something that is worth $20 not the $150+ they want for a lifetime subscription. Get it together Sony, almost 18 months and counting waiting for this basic functionality.
Finally feel justified in buying my PS4 14 months ago. Still haven't beat the cleric beast, got too late on me last night but I almost had him. He won't survive the night.
Xbox One gets better and better all the time. Love the monthly updates (2 updates this next month!) and it is great to see improvements to the development side. esRAM is beast already, cant wait to see what it can do with a new API behind it.
It is a terrible idea. We don't need the yearly CoD title and a CoD remake every year too. What we need, is a true break from CoD. Reduce it back down to one studio who puts out a killer game every 3 years.
While we all want to see new stuff, the last generation dragged on far too long and the hardware really held back stuff from reaching its potential. I skipped out on some of the games that are now remasters because I was so sick of that last gen hardware, so I'm glad I can now finally play them in their best state and all DLC included.
Don't like it don't buy it, simple as that
Hope it isn't dead. A Boba Fett and a Darth Maul game both got canned, both THE Star Wars games I'd die for. I really hope they make it out some day.
I'm guessing it'll hit in the 80-90 range which is probably what it deserves, can't see it going higher and it would really surprised me if it went lower. A lot of the critics rate these games especially high and I feel like the user scores around 8.5 are probably a better representation than the 90's the critics give.
Lot of you guys sound salty because The Order bombed and it was called out instead of being praised.
Talked to many people int...
This is what we call a damage control article. Notice how no Xbox or PC websites care, but the PS4 site needs to try to defend its version of the game... for some reason...
"We hate to come across as the “fanboys” denouncing the test"
At least they are aware of their fanboy status.
meh, it does look good, but it doesn't look as impressive as it did in 2013. These graphics have definitely been surpassed already, but that is what happens when you show your game 2 years before release. Game is gonna be awesome though I can't wait to play, probably my most anticipated this year.
HAHAAHHAHAHAHA!!!!! Bigger than Star Wars! AHAHAHAHAHHA!!!!!
I needed a good laugh today :)
I think the emphasis on destruction is completely misguided. I have a feeling the game may suck. The whole making a game, scraping it and starting over turned out horrid for Ghost Recon, I could certainly see this turning out the same way. I hope not though. If this doesn't have a significant COOP campaign included that is a huge flaw in my opinion, and I have yet to see any existence of that. Also, razor wire, indoors, really?
Hoping for the best but some decisions for t...
Kojima has many fanboys. Anyone would be smart to offer him a job. No matter what game he does next, whether it sucks or is awesome, is going to make money. "Of course I am buying it bro, it's Kojima"
Basically a guaranteed money maker. I'd offer him a job if I was in position to do so.
