"The thing is. He is saying that a lot of his fanbase aren't "real gamers"."
"HIS" fanbase?
Are you sure you don't mean console warriors in general?
"If the xbox fans on N4G represent anything like the masses then it's a problem."
Are you legit trying to imply that it's only the "xbox fans" that act that way on this site?
How long have you been...
"His "rant" was based on the information that's available..."
The rant itself still didn't hold up, though:

"...why bother on Xbox if your PC can handle it?"
And what about those whose PC's can't?
So you truly believe every Xbox Owner is going up and build a gaming PC?
You're saying every console-only owner is going to run and build a gaming PC?
What percentage of console owners have a "strong gaming rig", especially console-only owners?
@dragonddark
The main goal for platform holders is not to sell you hardware.
It's to make money off of software, online subscriptions and 3rd party licenses.
They merely use hardware as a tool to do that. That's why consoles are considered loss leaders.
Any profit they get from the hardware itself is a bonus, but traditionally, console hardware tends to sell at either a loss or at least a break-even point. But then p...
How many console-only owners are going to spend money on a PC able to run those games?
What exact percentage of the console market would do that?
You guys realize that Windows is the actual platform, not "Xbox" or "PC"?
There's a reason why they're putting these games on the Win 10 store instead of on Steam.
The purpose of a console (and a platform in general) is to sell software and subscriptions. The reason platform holders make hardware in the first place is so that they can make money off of software and licenses. That's why console hardware are considered loss leade...
But that 360 video though...
***ing crazy...
I wasn't aware Youtube could do that.

"Trolling"
This comments section is a mess.
How many console owners also own a gaming PC?
Would you mind pointing out the exact percentage of console-only owners vs. console/PC owners?
Every single update, outside of characters, is automatically added to the game for free, even if you have the free version.
Also, it's not a full-priced game. It starts at free, to each season costing $20.
I've always wanted to see a Fringe and (good) X-Files game. Would be awesome.
Agent Doggett was awesome, I don't care what anyone says. :P
@badz149
Every update and mode that comes with each season is added automatically to the base game for free, regardless of the version.
Each season costs $20. The base game itself is free and comes with a free rotating character.
Basically, the only thing you're paying for are characters. Each season has 8 characters. (There were 9 in Season 2)
You can play all of KI for cheap or free.
SFV has a $60 entry price.
I think most people's issue is that the game is full-priced vs. what's in the game.
If SFV had released with it's current content at $20, $30, or even $40, there most likely wouldn't be as much backlash.
To be fair to ifistbrowni, you specifically said "...and no one cared about XBOX"
Not as much as PS2 /= "no one"
