I said this would happen :P microsoft have had far too much success with kinect, they mentioned before they wanted to support pc gaming more..
really won't be suprised if they announced that their next console isn't even that but more a "kinect 2" made for PC

Why update multiple times if the situation is still the same..
they told us they hope to have it up in a couple of days..
then they told us it was due to an intrusion and they hope to have it fixed again in a day or two..

I agree that sony could be abit more open.
However i understand they can't be fully open about the reasonings because it gives away to much information for those who intend to damage sony/consumers etc.
Though i dont want or feel anybody needs reimbursed, it's a free service and it's a great service.. it went down because of security breaches.. i mean if people got a hold of your card details you'd be way more annoyed than you are now..

It could easily have been someone following or even part of anonymous..
however OpSony was a group of like minded anonymous 'members' when they start mini-groups such as OpSony they do so with the same views and opinions on the subject..
The chances that it was OpSony.. very unlikely.
The chances that it was others who care less about the consumer and just want to damage sony, pretty likely.
They openely said they had taken it down until further notice actually, however until now they didn't know what the sources were.
If you're a PSN user you will most likely have came across the random sign-outs the last few weeks which began to spread and get worse so sony took PSN down for a bit.
I honestly don't think it was 'anonymous' not those part of OpSony anyway.
Those part of OpSony have been pretty open and grounded with the statements and words released.
However im not saying it's not some butthurt 14 yearolds who were annoyed that OpSony ended.
I also have a sneaky thought that it may be via steamworks though :s

PSN was down almost 2 days, not that big of a deal. I can play any + games i wanna play today
watch the video.. He says he would want it to be low-budget raw looking almost like a snuff film lol..
It's not the hackers.. when they actually attacked PSN they managed to get it down for an hour.
PSN has had minor server issues for the last week or so(randomly signing people out) it's most likely a techinical issues..
P.S enjoy life for a few days, i've just finished a week of work, i usually use this time to Game but hey i also use it to see friends, go out, get lucky or rejected, relax, watch movies etc etc PSN doesn't = life :|
The hackers didn't bring it down this time..
The only time they brought psn down it was for an hour, sony have already said it was caused by something in the sony japan network/servers or whatever
Well it wasn't hard for them to run out when there was onl a few thousand codes in total, should have seen it coming

People seem to forget it took over 4 years for the ps3 to even be hacked.. unlike the 360 which was hacked year 1..
Not only that but sony have pretty much patched it up, only 3.55 users can jailbreak and they cant get online..
PSN also hasn't been hacked, the servers were DDoS attacked..
So yeah it is happy gaming :) I'll enjoy "the pointless add on media crap no one uses"

Login in is fine for me.. however there's been a few points during games in which my PSN would completely disconnect and i'd have to re-sign in and restart the game also..
happened about 3 times, these outages may explain why motorstorm keeps having server issues also

They discontinued attacks on the PSN, not only that it was fine after the first attacks, this is week later..
if anything it's probably just a server fault

Not only that but sony is currently rebuilding the network aka switching to new servers, ccreating a new security system, making sure all admins affected have new accounts.. that's alot of work and they're doing it ...
