@Sameh you can only change it via the original PS3, if you try to change elsewhere it will require email verification
It's actually down the game development, some games(exclusives) manage to run the XMB without lag while alot of multi-plats make it slow n stuff :) glad it will be back soon.. as of today they are turning PSN's back on region by region with the stated selected features of course.. expect PSN back in a few days while the store is still being checked and may take until the end of may :D
If you really lost that amount of money, the first thing you would do is contact your bank/credit card company and then sony providing the evidence..
As if the first thing you would do is print screen and post on the internet lmao
There's a risk with any transaction service.
Fact is i bet your facebook page(with your name etc on) isn't private and on the off chance it is, i bet you aren't using the encryption option.. :)
difference is with facebook you have images on there also which increases chances for identity fraud more than the PSN breach has.
They'll cover what we know, announce the exact date PSN will be back and then discuss the reimbursement for DC universe players atleast..
My thoughts anyway, i just hope it hurries up so we can get back to online gaming and enjoy some awesome exclusives as well as being hyped for up coming exclusives instead of being stuck in this circle of doom and gloom which we're currently in :D
We could have that already if microsoft didn't charge for XBL and weren't so closed towards developers.
@kingdavid
Yes that's a companies duty, however hackers hack to break such systems and bypass security.
Microsoft has been hacked, mastercard was hacked, the governments been hacked. Fact is it doesn't matter what type of security is in place there is always a loophole somewhere and it's just a case of when somebody will find it.
You can predict when you'll come under attack either.
P.S know what your...
!) they aren't stored. 2) i wasn't asked for mine? don't know if thats a sony EU thing..
3) guy should be fired either way
The first few were funny.. abit overboard now like 2-3 a day
OK sarcastic gamer you made one funny article/video..
That doesn't mean you need to create another 50..
They'll anounce that there won't be an xbox 720 or even a sequel however kinect done so well that Kinect2 will be a console with all new exclusive window washing game :D hehe
Nah hopefully it's something awesome, lack of hardcore games/exclusives is becoming annoying.
I mean the Wii was casual from the start but to go from a hardcore device to casual on the same piece of hardware = not cool.
Anyways it's still a great ye...
That's still not them allowing it.. without hacking you can't obtain the un encrypted data.. so yes and no..
They should have encrypted all information but at the same time i bet you don't use the encryption option on your facebook which has your name and date of birth etc.
They didn't allow anything to be obtained.. seriously this bullshit needs to stop..
Yeah sony's security could have been better but that's it people are acting like 77million people had all info stolen and are now bankrupt when in fact ZERO people have suffered from hackers using their details etc so far..
Good news, however EA have pretty much ran need for speed into the ground.. it's almost like fifa/madden/cod
New game evey year nothing new or exciting in any of them, take 2-3 years out and make a badass need for speed underground game
If a developer of all people can't understand that sometimes hacks are unavoidable.. then hey maybe don't put your game on PSN..
This is a complete fail on whoever started this lame rumour hahaha..
It's true sony don't ask for you security number fom the card :D dumbasses
It's B.S because now with the FBI/Governments etc involved if they even made contact with sony they'd be tracked down..
Plus like you said sony already have the databases, it's also likely that this whole offer is a complete lie as well
Mines fine, infact i don't even think the chances are high enough that my details get used lol..
Not only people missing the point that out of 77mil accounts not everyone is active.. and then out of the active ones not everyone had details stored.. and some only have things like address and no card details(which are encrypted anyway). So a hacker/the hacker(s)would have to go through everyone of them to find some with card details then try break the encryption. Not like...
Over exagerated, but still funny :)
Within the week PSN will be turned back on region by region with selected features.
Online gaming(including those that require updates etc)
Qriocity
Account information access
Playstation home
Friends list
Chat functionality.
It may take up to a month(end of may) to fully restore ALL features due to some still being tested for security such as playstation store ...
