I seriously hope people aren't going to stand for this shit, but who am I kidding...of course they will and the rest of the industry will see nothing wrong with it.
Every new generation comes with a new set of bs to deal with, last gen with the online pass, this gen was the microtransactions and live service (otherwise incomplete) games and next gen will be overpricing the hell out of everything because "Come on, producing these games at such high fidelity costs money."...
I do agree partially with this article, but I can't fault a game for what could potentially be its biggest asset.
Marvel Avengers selling point could be its campaign, it could be a game made to stand on just that merit alone, but after that solo experience comes to a conclusion the focus on a live service and multiplayer; while some may see it as tedious, allows for fans and the community to always have something to potentially look forward to and with the Marvel license that tra...
I totally get it, Spider-man/Sony and all, but damn that's tough. Spider-Man is a lot of people's favorite Hero and he should be accessible to all regardless of their console choice.
I am just keeping my fingers crossed for a few X-Men here and here. Storm, Gambit, Wolverine, Nightcrawler anyone would be nice.
I can do it.
I can wait.
I try to ignore getting information overload about this game to try and soften the blow that comes with having to wait, but there is no doubt in my mind that once this game releases, that it is going to be phenomenal.
Going to be picking it up on console and PC.
I can't wait to hear Bruce and Johnny Cage dialogue with each other.
I just recently bought a Pro too after being on the fence about it for a long time, good to see one of the games I'm most interested in is going to benefit. To be honest though I don't see why it couldn't run well on the X1, the game is just a little more than a week away they'll probably issue a Day 1 patch that fixes the issues.
I'm kind of fed up with hearing about who cares about what on twitter, it's too much focus on the loud minority these days and people take the disposition of these individuals to heart then try to change things to cater to these goons.
I own a PS4/5 I get access to a game exclusively for purchasing said console for 3-4 years, later down the line it releases PC.
As a owner of the console how is this a lost for me?
You gain nothing, you lose nothing.
...
I can't believe this is even worthy of a discussion.
It just shows how out of touch with reality some people have become.
Wooow so this is where its at now huh?
Sorry, but exclusivity is gaming console tradition. Now if someone else wants to break that tradition then more power to them, but taking the piss out of someone who isn't ... is pure foolishness.
We always hear that argument about how "Both consoles are essentially the same," or how "You may as well just get a Gaming PC." essentially saying it doesn't matter which one you get right??? Well ... mkay ... think...
Makes me sick that people blame Sony and SE instead of blaming the one who downloaded it, data-mined it and decided to leak it.
People need to get their priorities straight, the individual responsible had several opportunities to "Not" spoil several things or devalue the work of the team who dedicated themselves to making FF7R a pleasure for old fans and new fans to engage in.
I haven't particularly seen anything, but that's because I'm willin...
I love this game even though I'm experiencing it in small doses.
I work Full Time and when I get home I'm dead tired most of the time but I still manage to get maybe 2 or 3 hours in before going to sleep, I may wake up early before going to work and have an hour or so before having to head out and I'll play some more then.
Surely its not the same when you have responsibilities and you can't just dump all your time into the game and beat it in a few days or so...
Glad I didn't buy into the negative vibe for this game that so many tossed around. I fell in love with this game like 20 minutes in after realizing that the presentation was on a whole other level.
Even though Kojima stated he'd like his studio to work on movies in the future I hope he sticks around in the gaming industry for just a bit longer, I really want to see more of his stuff now that he isn't tied down to Konami.
All I can say is that there is a reason this isn't a popular opinion and it's got very little to do with people enjoying Nathan Drake over Lara Croft, in fact I was gaming back when OG Lara Croft was introduced to us on the gaming scene and have enjoyed her ever since.
The Tomb Raider Reboot imo is one of the best video game reboots of all time, I felt strongly for the reintroduction of Tomb Raider in the way they where going with it, however each game after that failed to de...
Promoting movement in CoD doesn't help anything, that's what the last couple of games did with the boost jumping, wall running etc and people say those games are fundamentally worse. Then they produce a video about their servers and how whatever you see happening on your screen 9 times out of 10 its not happening that way on the persons who just killed you.
CoD is just You Win Some You Lose Some the Game.
Oh please.
Gamers aren't "Obsessed" with Kojima, they simply champion his work because he strives to be innovative in his creative and respects his audience, over the years he (and his team) are worthy of the praises the fans give because they've consistently delivered on a gaming front to those who can appreciate it the most.
Most odern Day Gaming Journo's weren't even a part of that even though they pretend to be, they don't recogniz...
I love comics.
Great characters and their stories have been on the decline for the longest now and it's because a certain band of individuals are trying to force fed modern day agenda's in politics down everyone's throats and people are sick of it, people read comics and enjoy these larger than life characters and their stories because when done right they're intriguing, inspiring and entertaining they provide a form of escapism from a stressful or mundane type of lif...
Kind of don't see why people who consider themselves "Fans" of Kojima and MGS spoke so adamantly about the unfair treatment he got while under Konami's umbrella, but the moment he goes off on a venture on his own unhindered, now its time to second guess the merit of what he is creating?
People throw their money at far less compelling games and kickstarters etc without holding such an ominous cloud over said creators head, it almost feels like some people w...
Kojima is offering us a new IP that seems to be wrapped around immersion and exploration and he wants this experience to be "Unique" to his own vision and presentation and that's fine, I think the man produces great games and much like how I enjoy a Tarantino film due to his own style and flavor the same goes for how I feel about Kojima and the games he helps to produce.
I see people commenting about it not looking "Fun" which in my eyes just comes a...
....Right....
The only opinion on Final Fantasy games that will ever matter is my own, and when I think about them I don't waste time comparing them with one another.
I mean its Final Fantasy...
You either play it or you don't, miss me with the mine is better than yours bs.
Good lord, when will this time of stuff just end. I feel like me saying "no one cares" is just me being shallow at this point, but the reality is that there are a certain kind of people who do, trying to throw a blanket over certain things because they make you or someone else feel "uncomfortable?" how is this even art anymore? No freedom of expression, you can't just do what you feel or what you deem necessary to create something memorable or fantastic for ages to com...
