Its a subjective thing really; RPG's that is, my first RPG was Chrono Trigger on the SNES at least thats how I remember it. After that I got the itch and started playing all over the place. I've played so many I can't even remember them all, but I do know the best ones are the ones that tend to stick out in your mind after all the years have passed.

Ugh the reason this gets on my nerves is that this game started as a 3DS title and then came to PC and consoles so, what exactly is getting remastered here? I don't even think there will be additional content... I mean its a good game and while it will be nice to have Revelations 1 and 2 on my PS4 it's annoying that this is getting remastered versus some other game.

Anyone is going to be amazing on here, because it's crafted like a fighting game which means proper care will be taken into account for each character, unlike with Xenoverse where said character may be in, but essentially it's just for the fan service, ArkSys wants someone to actually play with said character with the idea of a semi-balanced move set that a fan of said character can pick up, learn and get good with.
That's what makes me really hype for the game,...

I think it's time devs got back to using some actual real creative to push out these games instead of trying to use historical events as a crutch. Nothing wrong with using a certain era or a chain of real world events for inspiration, but its up to the team to take those elements and form them into something less potentially offensive and more imaginative and creative.

This is a lie. Focus on Software is more important to fans now than on Hardware. Hardware is something you focus on pre-launch, not post launch, but whatever as long as they can secure another 500 from a portion of their fanbase they'll say whatever they have to say to secure the sales...like..." 4k/60fps " and when dev teams say otherwise and publishers are deciding console parity is most important (like they always have) then I guess all these XB fans will start saying Sony ha...
I hope Daisuke is working on some original tunes for this game as well, it's nice to have music inspired from the original anime, but Daisuke does phenomenal work with his musical tracks. In terms of Funimation's music, I'm not really feeling that stuff for this type of fighting game, Bruce Faulconer's stuff always came off to me as more than jingles or brief tunes rather than musical scores or video game soundtrack worthy music.
Sucks, she was like the last original VA still going strong for the RE games. I didn't like Claire's voice actress in Revelations 2 because it didn't fit Claire. I think it was the woman who did Liara and Lightning's voice.

Everyone bombs on Mass Effect Andromeda including me. The real problem though is that maybe something as well regarded as Mass Effect an IP that had so much substance to it since the beginning, should not have been handed off to a B Team of developers in the first place, we didn't even need a new Mass Effect so early, let them work on the new IP and THEN hand Andromeda off, but whatever clearly the franchise suffered because of it. Dragon Age and Dead Space two perfect examples of rushin...
PS4 Pro is nothing like Scorpio and it was never intended to be. YES its about time, been waiting to hear something about the port for a long while now. I hope to see Square mention this at E3, officially and if Noctis does ever make it into this game I hope they use King Noctis instead of him when he was young. It would just make more sense imo.

I agree with your comment about the 90's era games as well, even when a team of devs; be it AAA or Indie set out to emulate that retro experience it still just isn't the same. The first time CT that moment right before you step into Magus's Castle for the first time, pure gold.
