I really hope this game is quietly successful, I am looking forward to this and it seems like this might be a promising title, but nowadays all it takes is a few people screaming online about how bad something may be for them, mostly focusing on the surface of a game or what they thought it would be rather than what it really is, all it really takes nowadays is that kind of negative narrative to subsequently bury a newer IP.
Strange opinion here. I have been blessed enough to own a PS5 since launch and I've enjoyed it very much, I could not see myself going back to the last console generation at this point.
Ugh ... Tencent man. These guys are eventually going to cause some damage and I don't mean that in a good way.
It's not worth it, trying to have a opposing opinion of this game, once a few known loudmouths sound off about the game that becomes the general consensus from individuals who've never even played the game. I do miss when gaming was more about a individuals subjective taste instead of this hive mind driven circle jerking narrative that we often see today, bashing a game for its shortcomings is far easier than giving it praise for the things it's done well.

Can't say I disagree with the choice, it's a F2P cross platform game, if it isn't going to be people modding character models then other mods are just going to open the door for potential gameplay nonsense and shenanigans.
I'll play it, but Suicide Squad may be the better option in terms of quality and general overall fun. I don't think it will be a bad game, just a mediocre one with a multiplayer gimmick, people immediately think about the Arkham series when this game is mentioned even though I don't think it's being marketed that way.
Either way it looks like it'll be an alright game, nothing groundbreaking or spectacular and I'm ok with that.
Wow Gremlins? Now that is sick, I love the vibe being carried with this game also happy to see someone who hasn't been "Datamined" or "Leaked" or whatever
Why is it that people have ignored the lack of exclusive titles on the Xbox for like the past ten years? It is like most are just stuck in denial. If its a console you like and have grown attached to so you buy it no matter what then that's fine. It's why I always purchase the newer Nintendo product as a side console knowing it won't be as powerful as the others, you like what you like and that's that.
But stop pretending like Microsoft has released a wide array of ex...
Personally I never considered that, I also work overnights as well and as a result the Switch has become my best friend, I'm also considering purchasing the Steam Deck for that same reason, but if your friend is streaming games via Gamepass and it's a viable experience then I'm going to have to try that out myself.
CoD isn't going to make or break Sony, I don't know why people take this to the extreme. I guess if they lose Call of Duty people may as well hang up the old Dual Shocks and call it a day. If anything them losing it would urge them to try and fill that empty void by maybe bringing back an old IP that could potentially rub that familiar FPS itch or investing in a new one.
If anything playing those games Streamed is just extra incentive to buy the digital or physical copies, its more like a glorified demo. I could not imagine playing Elden Ring under streaming conditions and feeling satisfied.
If we're being honest both of these games are incredibly underrated, I've no idea why people overlooked them. Perhaps for Returnal it had to do with not many having a PS5 since it was so hard to get back then, Control on the other hand is different, the upgraded Edition is so well done visually and the concept of the game is really interesting and it could go places in the future.
As for Returnal I remember playing it and at some point saying, "Man...what if we had a Met...
This is the thing, when we say these games are targeted towards adults as true as that may be we all know that adults aren't the only ones getting their hands on them, we know this because if we're adults playing these games as children we watched all the things we weren't supposed to and played all the games that where not made for us. As adults we have to accept that the time has changed, back in the day we where children engaging in these activities primarily amongst ourselves ...
The team stepped away and did Horizon which is fine, it's clearly a passion project they wanted to do, but it would be nice to get a new Killzone for current generation at some point. Same story for SP and Infamous, they've moved on and had success with another IP, but an Infamous on the PS5 would be incredible.
I say buy it if you want it, the NFT market has already crashed and burned but corporate pushers don't seem to care about that, it's not like not buying it saves the world from some big planetary soul sucking corporation or something. Besides, you'll probably be dead in 40 to 50 more years anyway and 10 years from now all this NFT nonsense will all just be a memory.
There's nothing better than seeing a studio actually evolve and develop fundamentally better games over their time in the industry, rather than being forced to make the same game countless times and just put a number or subtitle at the end of it. It's ironic though lol I say that, knowing damn well I would like for them to take all that experience they've acquired and give us another Infamous, I feel like Second Son opened up a lot of new possibilities for the games direction, Del...
People may complain, but I couldn't be happier with this. I personally don't know what they have in store for us gameplay or scenario wise for the next installment, but whatever the case may be I sure don't want their vision to be bogged down by continuing to consider what may or may not be possible on the last generation hardware.
Can't believe this is legit, been wanting this to happen for such a long time this and WET.
I own both PS+ P and Game Pass Ultimate, I'm sorry but Quality over Quantity, I enjoy them both but PS+P seems to have more Quality while I will say I was going to buy TMNT Shredder's Revenge but was happy to find out it made it's way onto Game Pass.
I would love to see a Final Fantasy rendition of this character, like a Dissidia deal where the characters get ripped from their own world for whatever reason to participate in a pre-existing war and along the way begin to recollect their memories and who they where (are), this game presents a similar type of energy and could potentially become something more than just a one and done, but I guess it's up to the publishers and the creative to realize potential connections like that or how ...
