I knew I should have just got it on PS5. I would gladly just cut off crossplay and that would get rid of a nice portion of this nonsense. Seriously considering it.
What in the world man. You have got to be kidding me. Didn't EA also get caught doing this as well because part of the team responsible for this game and The Finals used to be a big part of Dice and the BF games before they left?
This is sad, but that's okay. I wasn't even that interested in Arc Raider's anymore once I found out it was an extraction shooter, but now I'm going to give it another shot. Just another game I'll be playing this year over Black Ops 7...
I think it's mind-blowing that in the past 2 decades; quite possibly even further back, the entertainment industry has been actively showcasing the downfall of humanity as a whole in various forms of media it does not matter if its movies, books, videogames -- the list goes on. It's been actively warning us all, fantasy overtime is becoming reality and people are so caught up in the flavor of the month in controversy or politics or entertainment little things like this are allowed to ...
People actively dislike CoD all the time and with good reason, very rarely does it effect anything. Doesn't change the amounts sold and doesn't change game direction or development. Voicing disdain for this game and what Activision does is like yelling at a brick wall. Honestly just give your money to Battlefield this year, I say this because even if the game ain't perfect at least they're trying to give the community what they've been asking for and that's a step in t...
good lord, give it a rest, do people even know how to enjoy a thing anymore?
I agree, if they copy themselves into Microsoft's strategy that they created because they where losing the platform war and suddenly have a "less Hardware focused" approach then it's kind of foolish. As for them copying in the past to get where they are that isn't true, but they have done this often more recently with Gamepass and the trendy focus on Live Service etc.
Doing THEM is what has made them successful it's why people continue to purchase the platfo...
Got a chance to play a few matches, it's damn good. Nothing beats that feeling you get from blowing up a tank then seeing you wiped out an enemy squad while doing so. I'm definitely buying it, they're doing good work down at Dice.
Been playing 2042 recently, they cleaned it up real nice compared to launch it is so much better. I think they learned their lesson BF6 should hit the ground running and in a good place.
Taking a long hiatus from this franchise and then giving it a go again really made me remember how much I missed BF. I hope they do this right this time. Let CoD be CoD let Fortnite Be Fortnite, please just be Battlefield.
This is why gaming is constantly going down hill. You have companies like this generating the biggest revenue and leading the charge for more "Innovative" ways for them nickel and dime the change from your wallet.
If they could find a way to implement a "Pack Opening" mechanic in their game like its 2K I'm sure they'd do it in a heartbeat.
How can we call this the Golden Era of fighting games? That's not true at all, this is just the Easily Accessible Era to fighting games. This isn't a statement I'm making to speak ill on any newcomers, it's just that the truth is these fighting games these days implement so much now into the foundation to make them more about picking up and playing than really understanding the systems at play and refining your skill set. I don't like how the innovation for Fighting Games ...
This is a direct result of people in the past mindlessly throwing their wallets at these companies while they delivered the bare minimum, now they consider this pricing practice the norm and they don't care if you like it or not. I wonder if some people who encouraged this in the past are now some of the ones complaining about how absurd it is.
Arc Raiders I had heavy interest in when they spoke of it being a Looter Shooter, with the aesthetic of the game it seemed like it was worth it, but personally I've now lost all interest in it since it's become a Extraction Shooter. I don't mind the genre, but here we go again with the oversaturation of one particular genre because they've decided to chase the new extraction trend and just make the game Streamer Bait. I wish they would just go back to designing these games for...
This was one of the first games I played once I got my PS5, it's amazing and I still feel like it's criminally underrated, but at least this team gets to make a successor to this with their next game. I'm definitely going to start a fresh run on the Pro soon.
I didnt really like Arc Raiders so to each their own I guess. I'm a little tired of these games geared towards streamer demographic mentality I just don't find them all that entertaining to play anymore.
To be fair I feel like most in the selective social gaming space are just grifters now, participating and voicing their opinion on some of these games and subjects for brownie points amidst their little inner circle.
It's a huge disconnect.
At least for me.
I really wish they would cut this out. I mean there is only Last of Us 1 and 2 and they act as if there are 3 or more of them. All the repackaging and reselling is getting out of hand.
It used to be show them how you feel about something with your wallets because that's the only thing they listen to...but now when we do that, they come up with every other reason under the sun as to why the consumer isn't happy with their games and they give entire franchises the axe because of it.
Eventually they'll sever so many of they're legs that they won't have anymore left to stand on and it will be mostly they're own doing. This goes for bot...
Why would Sony abandon one of it's main selling points just to follow suite behind a company who isn't doing as well as them in the Gaming Division? Most of this "Non exclusivity" approach from Microsoft only exist because they're hardware sales aren't doing well so they need to present their games on other platforms in order to boost sales.
The article should really be titled "I Wish PlayStation Would Eventually Abandon Console Exclusives &am...
The problem isn't DEI persay, it's how and to what degree its implemented. When its implemented in a way that is counter productive to the game, condescending to the player and seems to aim at warping the mindset of the younger more impressionable audience by being overly obvious and preachy in a setting where these details have no real place then it poses a problem.
You have the dogs that bark at any semblance of "Woman lead role" or "Non white protag" or...
I hope Sony wins the case and beats Tencent over this. This is a no-brainer so let's not even try to get creative here and just call it what it is. "BS".
