I love how people want to paint the narrative so bad that this game is dumpster fire that they try to treat the obvious as if it's rocket science. The reality is people who purchased it and played it enjoy it more than they thought they would and some people who didn't refunded it, it's possible most who refunded it didn't let the game open up before they made their choice, that's their right it's their money.
Someone playing this game saying it's not that...
I can't believe this is getting high reviews. It's a 3 or a 4. It's so not a Silent Hill game imo. I tried it for 3 hours and attempted to stick to it and give it the benefit of the doubt, but I got to the part after the chase after the school locker puzzle (the big reveal) and was caught *sigh* by the trauma monster and decided to stop.
I have so much I could say about this idea that this was somehow the Format for the Silent Hill experience to me that seems to be the pr...
It's a good game not a perfect one not a great one it's a 6 out of 10 with the possibility of becoming better with post launch content and the absence of modern journo score. I saw an article state that this game learned nothing from Avengers. That's wrong, they didn't play the game long enough to make that assessment, it's better than Avengers in several areas.
I did Alpha testing for the game and 2 hours isn't enough time to really even complete th...
They are cherry picking perhaps, but at the same time I can't blame them either. There have been a few decent games that have been drove into the dirt because reviewers started to treat writing the worse review for said game like a competition.
It's understandable that they would much prefer people actually get their hands on a copy of the game first and give it a fair shot before it unfairly gets flailed around in the clinches of the GaaS and Agenda stricken narrative that s...
I absolutely hate this industry and the community is the worst. Sit around and complain all day about things and still dump money into it and mass endorse it, none of the practices that have been taking place recently in the gaming ecosystem has been very good for consumers. They just have us pegged as a consumer that loves to cry wolf and they're completely right, them turning annual releases into glorified DLC pieces was controversial, well controversy is over and it sold just fine so i...
This is ridiculous, gaming seems to just gradually be going down the shitter, and it's not all because of the publishers either. Too much same think is going on from the community as well, solid opinions formed about something that they've never even played "apparently" complaining about every little thing that's disliked as if it's some extinction level event without even offering up some unbiased view on the projects at hand.
It's all either ...
I play games on PC and PS5 and have had Ubisoft+ in the past, please don't try and make it seem like anyone who doesn't have Ubisoft+ is missing out on something because they really aren't. PS+ has more value by far.
This just sounds like someone has had one too many bad games that didn't go their way. Outside from newer players trying to figure out what to do and how to move in the game I haven't really run into this problem.
And even if I had, who cares? It's a F2P game with fun destructive environments like a lot of people wished Battlefield had, trying to control what someone else does to minimize their fun so that you can have more is a lame, so long as they're not cheating o...
Lets go even Bigger this time! Let's have it be Cloud! Then we have Zack mysteriously take Cloud's place and upon replacement he proceeds to put boots to asses!
Yeah! - LA Knight
Ah yes, the absolute thrill of utilizing those heightened senses.
Leaking projects and datamining has become something I feel needs to be cracked down on and I don't care what anyone says on the matter, it's just become scummy, disruptive and clout-baiting.
That being said, hearing that X-Men is finally getting a videogame again and that Insomniac is going to be responsible made me about as excited as I was when FF7R was officially announced. Who knows maybe it'l...
I played enough of this game to know most people's opinion on it is wildly exaggerated and regurgitated rhetoric from whichever Youtube review video made them laugh the most with their weird thumbnail and copy paste humor.
The game's a 6.
I like how right when I think they're done, CDPR is like "Hol'up..." these guys aren't going to stop until they find a way to make this game run on the Switch!
Warhammer just can't catch a break man.
To be honest, it's not really that big a surprise I think Sony recognizes that a majority of their players over the years have come to appreciate the RPG genre just in general, even as far back as before people start dubbing certain ones as JRPG's after the SNES period most of my RPG experiences have been on the Playstation.
Oh god, just stop. The amount of delusion there is just mind numbingly bad and outrageously bias.
At least they've realized that this was a problem and instead of doubling down on it or trying to ride it out they're taking actions to set things straight.
At this point whenever I see anything about the Avengers I just have to roll my eyes, because it's not THE AVENGERS they want, it's the MCU variant and I'm tired of the cinematic side of Marvel being the representative of what we see and get to experience in the games.
Spider-Man being affiliated with the Avengers at one point or another isn't that important to start chomping at the bits over it.
I would have much rather seen Peter or Miles interact with Luke...
People these days go hunting for bugs in games like they're easter eggs and when they finally run across one they start scrambling to post it online so they can make a fuss about it.
If my save data isn't corrupted and the flow and enjoyment of the game isn't hindered or interrupted then I simply don't care.
Game is awesome and seeing Miles in The "Best There Is" was like a chef's kiss considering what game they're working on next.
It being a Remaster in this gaming era bothers me. I feel like something in this gem is going to be reworked or censored or removed. If it has to be a remaster I just want it to remain as it was originally intended, clearly this is one of those games certain individuals would throw a hissy fit over in the media now.
I thought claiming a story consisted of bad writing was an action a person was supposed to take after they'd experiencing the story in question, not before.
