The DLC is "10 hours minimum", this is what MS said at GDC 08 w/r/t GTAIV DLC:

** When MS says exclusive, they mean that no other system can have DLC content for GTAIV

** It will be bigger than a lot of people think. GTA3 Vice City and San Andreas were basically expansions of GTA3. Think of the DLC that way. We are talking major expansion for GTAIV

** No price has been discussed yet. It’s up to Rockstar on whether or not they will cha...

You've never heard RSX vs. Xeno?

How about this from AnandTech;

"the performance difference from a CPU standpoint between the Xbox 360’s Xenon and the PS3’s Cell processor is basically a wash. The 360 has more cache, while the Cell has a lower latency path to main memory....Graphics-wise the 360’s Xenos GPU and the PS3’s RSX are fairly different in implementation, but may end up being very similar in performance. Treating Xenos as a 24-pipe R420, it could ...

And, this is *ARSTECHNICA* it is not a biased site. Its probably one of the *least* biased newssources this site ever sees.

That said, it is *universally* accepted that LIVE is the premier online experience -- and it costs a (gasp) whopping $3.25-ish per month.

Great. Good for you.

The Xbox 360 world-wide install base is almost twice the PS3. And, the gap is even *wider* in America -- the main market for GTA.

And, for owners with both consoles, a person with any logical sense in his head would buy the Xbox 360 version for two reasons: A) Option to play the whole game by getting the Exclusive Expansions and B) the superiority of online gaming on LIVE.

But, you can continue to pretend otherwise, this is N...

@10.1

If Star Ocean does so well in Japan, how about a SO4 Xbox 360 bundle?

An established IP would be serious motivation for console sales...MS isnt going to just "give up" on Japan.

@12.1 Below;

"appreciating graphics for the style, aesthetics, and artistic merits "

This needs to be said MORE. The games over-all style makes the game, not just nit-picking the "jaggies" here or there or w...

IS that the best you can do?

How about this:

"Ok we gave Sony and their PS3 two exclusives, but that is going to cost us many sales because the worldwide install base is half the size of Xbox 360, already so that's enough. So, we're going to bring Infinite Undiscovery to 360 to target that larger base. We cant afford to give up too many more sales, so lets make Star Ocean 4, one of our biggest franchises in Japan, a multi-platform game -- heck, triACE is al...

triAce (the Developer of Star Ocean) is working on Infinite Undiscovery exclusively for Xbox 360.

This can serve the purpose of getting triAce familiar with Xbox 360 development.

I dont know if SO4 will be multi-platform or not, but there is a chance that the triAce relationship with MS could extend to include making SO4 multi-plat. We'll have to wait and see.

There are already 3 (Blue Dragon, Lost Odyssey, Eternal Sonata) top quality JRPG.

@2.2

They dont want to "slow down" the PS3, they want to get a good variety of good games for every gamer.

They are doing that better than any other company this generation, no doubt about it.

Yes, its an "opinion" as much as any piece of media is opinion.

ArsTechnica is very well respected, and has one of the best record of editorial and journalistic integrity in Internet technology media.

Perhaps you'd like another story from pspsps.tv trashing the Xbox 360? Would that be better for you?

Nintendo seems to be hiding their disc failures. It would be nice if they fessed up and were honest about what is going on.

These are the first two DL games, if every DL game is going to cause all these errors, they're not going to be able to keep their lie going for very much longer.

Be best thing for both the Company and Customers is if Nintendo fessed up, extended the warranty and fixed the things for free. The way you treat your customers will make them und...

No, we're going to continue to play the best library of videogames in the industry, and enjoy all the new releases as well.

Oh, and when the Exclusive Expansions come, I'm going to buy them. Just like I bought GTAIII: Vice City expansion and GTAIII: San Andreas expansion.

More people bought GTAIII: Vice City Expansion and GTAIII: San Andreas expansion that bought the first GTAIII.

Your a liar.

Why on earth would you pay $1000 for game consoles, but give a flying f about $50 per year to get the best online-multiplayer experience available?

Give us a break.

More people bought GTAIII: San Andreas and GTAIII: Vice City than bought GTAIII.

Some people dont play the every last mission, but many do, and many love to just spent time in the game, and the Xbox 360 is getting the only Expansions... so, if you want new, in-game content, Xbox 360 is your only option... and, honestly, a goddamn fine option at that.

Bwhahaah.

Exclusive Expansions *are going to make a difference*. You can argue *how much*.

Did GTAIII:VC or GTAIII:SA "make a difference"? Sure, they sold more than the original GTAIII.

It will make a difference to gamers who want to play the only full GTAIV experience. I know it. And all the "no"-PS3 owners above me know it.

Jealousy is a terrible thing kids.

If you are judging your consoles on noise alone (and by noise I don’t mean the noise coming out of the speakers while playing a game), the consoles stack up as follows:

1. Xbox 360 – on average least noisy, generally level noise output
2. PS3 – Not noisy at first, but fairly noisy once on for a short while
3. Wii – Vi...

Just keep up that same old same old off-topic trolling.

The trouble is:
A) The Xbox 360 motherboard underwent revision in mid-2007 to resolve the heat issues.
B) Every user gets a free fix.

So, yeah, well... uhm, nice troll pal.
