God I wish Xbox fans would actually buy original IPs instead of the same 4-5 franchises year after year.
Both Deadly Premonition and Alan Wake, great xbox exclusives, were commercial flops, but Halo 6 (Reach) makes millions in days. Such a bummer. I hope Deadly Premonition will come over to PS3 so it can receive the attention it deserves.

Well DLC costs money on Xbox Live because LIVE is a closed, proprietary, client based network, and Microsoft charges developers to upload content to servers. Sony doesn't. Sometimes people actually complain about the constant game updates on the PS3.
I have a feeling if Left 4 Dead came out on PS3 it would have free DLC, if the DLC wasn't already included on the blu-ray disc.

All I want is an awesome single player mode, and if they do online, all I want is a 1 vs. 1 card game, and a 1 vs. 1 classic combat system with 4 characters, XP, Gil, cool equipment, and wagers before the match. No free roam, just battles.

I'm 18 and I have a collection of PlayStation 1 games.

I think it will have the exact opposite effect. It wont attract too many Xbox owners because there are no hardcore games for it, and the $150 or $300 price tag will steer casual gamers away, but after more games come out like Dance Central, Haunt, Steel Battalion, Codename D, Project Draco, gamers will start to buy it. Especially if Microsoft drops the price of it because demand decreases.
Microsoft is a multi-billion dollar company, they're smart enough to know the rules...
