TB's reboot was much more violent and the environments were bigger. But like 90% of the gameplay was all taken from Uncharted, and not to mention the cinematic approach.
People often say that Uncharted copied the old Tomb Raider games but beside a vague premise about treasure hunting they are nothing alike. Not in gameplay, presentation or story-line. Uncharted was obviously inspired by Gears of War, Prince of Persia and movies like Indiana Jones and Romancing the Stone. ...

Welcome to June 10....
the review in a nutshell: This game's strictly for hardcore weaboos.
if it weren't because the backgrounds are pre-rendered they could mod even more stuff.
all their games selling less than Heavenly Sword.
yup, 95/100 on Metacritic and possible GOTY 2013 is not good enough. GTFO you mindless sheep!
what a waste. Suda51 are a mediocre developer, all their games suck big time. Overrated as heck. Always bad graphics, story and gameplay, and you can bet this new game will be nothing more than another niche flop no one gives a crap about.
it had way better graphics and animations than the actual release. Just look at Tidus clothing moving around and the full 3D camera... They had to gimp it a lot for it to run on PS2. But to be honest, that Tidus model, if the video had better quality I could swear it looks just like current gen games.
this has nothing to do with console popularity and more to do with fanbase. Wii was the most popular, then the 360 and PS3 last yet the Tales games sold the most on PS3 because that's where most of the JRPG fans are. Period.
When are these guys going to learn?
edit: BTW, after reading the quote the tittle makes no sense because he doesn't say "to the most popular platform" but "to where most of the fans are". So it's pretty mu...
they developed the entire game on the old dev-kits with 4Gigs of ram but at this point they don't have much time to fully optimize the game to take advantage of the new updated kits.
I don't like this. Releasing incomplete games to then patch them up through software updates is not a good practice.
it wouldn't be so difficult if there were games to back up the claims.
damage 0_0
nope.
this franchise is dead. Ninja Theory killed it.
On top of it, Kamiya wanted to make the game but Capcom didn't let him. He could have evolved the franchise way beyond DMC3 but after the first DMC game Capcom took it off his hands only to give it to a mediocre developer to ruin it and then pass it to Ninja Theory for a mediocre reboot.
The DMC franchise was doomed from the very beginning by Capcom itself.
this game is bad. Even if it were on all platforms it would have been the same.
don't even waste your time. This has been explained thousands of times already and if he still doesn't understand it's because he just doesn't want to understand.
Even on Ninja Theory's forum of DMC people were still complaining about why the game sucks and that's probably why they closed it up. At this point they can't do crap anyway.
