disagree because these are new consoles that nobody know how powerful they really are so saying that the demo ran on a high-end PC is irrelevant. He just said that last year's demo looked much better than PS4's demo and that is the truth regardless of your spin.
I find funny that the fanboys of this site are so hardcore that even with the proof in front of their face they still dare to disagree with your comment. N4G's users are just plain ridiculous.
don't forget about Media Molecule and Quantic Dreams too. But anyway, you know gamers are very gullible. They see stuff, they get excited but forget about the fact that Sony is the studio with the most 1st party developers. Not to mention the most powerful but cheapest console.
pre-orders are crazy high though.
this is just some random guy in a forum claiming to be an Xbox dev... Stop grasping at straws.
yeah but only when you take into account the Facebook games and stuff.
Ono said he wants to make a new Street Fighter Alpha game. Probably for next-gen consoles....
but because they are in losers now we'll see them more because they'll have to fight more matches. ;)
why people don't read the Guidelines and understand that direct linking to Youtube is not allowed? ;(
it's from the same source so it's a dupe anyway.
this is not news, this is just a rumor.
"just because a system has lower specs, doesnt mean its a weaker system"
You're really reaching man... That example you gave is not even relevant. Any i7 has way higher specs than an APU CPU, especially a CPU with Jaguar cores which is a CPU for tablets and netbooks. XD
That hardcore blind fanboyism of yours is making you say lots of very silly stuff.
ESRAM was not chosen for any advantage because it has none, it was chosen because Microsoft wanted 8GB and felt that GDDR5 wouldn't be available in enough capacity, so they went with the slower DDR3 and boosted the bandwidth with the ESRAM which is has added complications when it comes to game development. As a result of choosing DDR3 and needing ESRAM on the GPU die they have compounded problems by limiting themselves to a smaller/less powerful GPU than PS4.
Sony on the ...
DDR5 doesn't even exist, DDR4 is only coming out starting from next year to the mainstream PC. And latency is not about being faster or slower but higher or lower.
GDDR5 has higher latency than DDR3 not slower. And even then, APU's CPU are weak and irrelevant to next-gen games anyway. It will be all about GPU and GPGPU implementation so the bandwidth will be a necessity. With the PS3 it was all about the Cell helping the RSX and with the PS4 the CPU will be there just...
Cerny did his research, he didn't build the PS4 in a month, he has been working on it since 2008. If the latency were such a huge issue he would know better than anybody on this website because he is both: a game designer and hardware engineer.
PS3 has split memory so there aren't any latency issues there. PS3 has very fast XDR for CPU and GDDR3 for the RSX.
PS3 has more GOTY exclusives and it outsold the X360 even with the year head-start. America means crap compared to WW sales.
Cerny never even mentions the XB1 on any of his interviews while this MS guy is just spinning to put down the PS4 saying that specs doesn't matter because XB1 games look better.
And then you talk about bias.... 0_O
and we have this guy saying otherwise:
"I’m sure as the cycle evolves, developers will look at ways to squeeze more out of the PS4"
http://gamingbolt.com/xbox-...
And this comes from a legit game developer and not some random self-proclaimed engineer on a forum.
I stopped reading at: "An Xbox One developer has revealed....". Like if he were going to say that the PS4's more powerful even though it's $100 cheaper. lol
making an open world it's too much work for them, especially when they sell 20 millions every year with rehashes.
