It seems the US didn't like it so much considering that they are the biggest video-game market in the world. I would have expected at the very least a million in one month but it's a new IP alright, not Resident Evil that sells well regardless of quality.

Darkstalkers already came out and flopped hard. That series has no audience. And personally, I never liked it to be honest.

when I was a kid this was the console I got and let me say, it wasn't that great. Sometimes we would only get like 5 games in an entire year while the PS1 was getting hundreds in the same time-frame. This is when Nintendo lost me and I started with the Nes and then Snes and then N64 for obvious reasons but ever since Iwata became Nintendo's boss the company went down the drain.
The N64 has so few good games you could count them all in one hand. XD
PS2 was more powerful than the Dreamcast and the GC and Xbox came out almost 2 years later which is a considerable gap.
The consoles that sold the most re not the weakest but the cheapest.
FF is known for being story driven and I have not played any of the MMO though because I have never been a fan of the genre but what kind of story can it be told though an MMO?
be honest man, Knack looks mediocre at best. And the same with Driveclub....
without any 3rd party's, a weak over-priced system, crap online infrastructure, few games... I don't think they are really catering to anything, they first need to fix their s***t.

Valkyria Chronicles man... Why it had to be stupid Sega the one who created this incredible game? The idiots kill every good franchise they have: Vanquish, Bayonetta, Yakuza, Shining Force, etc. They send the games to their early deaths without any advertising in the West. And for what? To keep making more mediocre Sonic games. ;___;
people said the same about mixing FF with Disney but it worked. They even have freaking Pirates of the Caribbean and the funny thing is that all the game is kind of a cell-shaded but that world looks very realistic and it was fine.
I pre-ordered a PS4 even though I'm not interested in any of the launch games and I'll probably be playing PS3 the most because of: GTAV, GT6, Beyond, Disgaea D2 and of-course UMvC3 online. I bought Killzone SF though even thought I have never liked the franchise but the launch line-up looks incredibly weak to me.
even games like Mario are counted as "action" games.
PS4 is beating the XB1 in pre-orders in every single region that they are launching this year, and that includes the US.
depending on how you have your TV and other systems hooked up is just not that easy.
haven't you seen and felt the new suspension work? On consoles absolutely nothing compares to GT6. Period.
and yet none of that crap works well for games, it only makes them less enjoyable in most cases. Change just for the sake of change is never good.
