EVO is PS3 only due to tradition and for the sake of uniformity because players say that PS3 is slower and Xbox faster and that changing consoles mid-through a tournament messes up their execution. You really have no idea how much the PS3 gets trashed in a daily basis in the FGC and how they in many instances blame their loses on the "#PS3lag".
The truth is that 99% of the FGC are Xbox fanboys, most of the tournaments are on Xbox, they even request to be always on X...

Marvel is the biggest and most popular fighting game right now and Capcom does crap with it. Their excuse is that they don't have Marvel/Disney permissions to do anything else with the game beside some balancing (but Marvel can not be balanced).

then why they didn't boo for Injustice and SFIV announcements before Marvel and SFIV finals? Those took significant time, especially with Ono and his broken English, he talked for like 5 minutes and then the trailer was like 5 more minutes +another 5 minutes of just advertising. It was like 30-40 mins in total between these 2 and nobody booed anything like with KI.

Maximilian is not honest, he says every fighting game is good because that's his job. Promote anything that helps him and the FGC to grow and make more money. You'll find it really hard to encounter a single video where he talks negatively about any fighting game, he's just a happy promoter.
the PS3 remake was amazing. Too bad it was a digital only release though, and I didn't like the episodic content either, really lame.
@Bimkoblerutso most people in the chat (around 60k viewers) were badmouthing the Xbox and most of the booing from the Evo crowd came when they announced the console where the game was running on (Xbox One). There is no way to spin this in any positive way.
Another thing is that the same thing didn't happen when they were showing the new character for Injustice or the new SFIV DLC.
