Why the disagrees? If iPhone is a gaming platform (which it's not) then even more so is the PC. And there's a lot more of them than there are iOS devices if you start counting by the same faulty logic the article uses.

I'll play a good game even if it doesn't have achievements or trophies. If it has them and is enjoyable, then I will try to collect most or all of them. If the game is bad or boring, I won't play it even for a super easy platinum.
This will be my most challenging and rewarding Platinum along with MGS2.

Also MS was only the first to make achievements universal across all games on a console. There were similar systems in some games way before. MS didn't come up with the whole idea, like you're implying.
I thought pretty much every PC game allowed you to remap controls. Guess there are exceptions too though. Also there are left handed keyboards too:

It's exactly what it says it is. You can only see the name and description of it after you have obtained it. Some descriptions contain spoilers for the game, can't really see any other good reason to hide them.
You should give Gravity Rush a try.
The concept of SmartGlass is very promising. There are a lot of ways it can be implemented for supportive purposes. I'm a sucker for game lores and SG allows me to get even more of it quite conveniently as I play. And that's just scratching the surface of the potential of SmartGlass. Also making it available for all kinds of devices is the best move I've seen MS pull off in quite a long while.
I'm seriously considering buying the Nextbox if they have some aces...
Is it just me or does the silence on FFX HD feel slightly odd? Other HD releases were announced and released somewhat in the same timeframe as FFX HD has been announced and then full radio silence.

Agreed, but the inclusion of splitscreen co-op pretty much confirmed my purchase. Not enough of those games these days.
With Ragnarok Odyssey, LBPV, AC:L, CoD:Declassified and many other games on the horizon in the near future, I believe the Vita sales will pick up.
