I'm doing the opposite. I'm doing my best to resist the urge to search for every possible bit of information and screenshots out there. I want to find out about all the best little details on my own, when I play the game. Makes it more enjoyable IMO.
The lack of MGS3 on this list makes it an instant fail.

What? All you had to do was play one Co-op game and one Deathmatch to get all the MP trophies required for Platinum on Uncharted 2 & 3. The rest of the MP trophies were not required for the plat.
Via emulator of course, Android has ePSXe and FPse but I don't know if there are any good ones on WP8.
Android gaming isn't my cup of coffee. I've tried a lot of Android games, hoping I'd be pleasantly surprised. But so far I've been disappointed. I've spent way more time playing FF VII on my SGS2 than all the actual Android games I've played combined.

I see you're confusing bits with bytes. Connection speeds are reported as Megabits, download speeds as Megabytes. 1 byte (B) = 8 bits (b). 8MB*8=64Mb.
I don't have optic fiber connection, but just normal coaxial cable which is why even my PC or any other device can't reach that theoretical maximum download speed in my case.
Of course it's possible that there are differences in PSN download speeds between different regions. Also I didn't me...
There's nothing wrong with PSN download speeds. I have a 100Mbs connection and all my downloads are between 6-8MB/s, which is just as fast as I can download stuff on my PC from the best sources. I've bought and downloaded like 15 full games from PSN, and even the biggest ones didn't take any more than 2 hours to download. Your ISP, modem/router or network settings are to blame for slow downloads.
Couldn't agree more. No system needs saving this early after launch, unless it's a total flop. Which Wii U is not.

Back on topic: All I need is a more polished game. If they keep up their good work on other fronts and manage to make it less buggy, then I'll be more than happy.

I never trust these guesstimates no matter which console or game takes the top spot. The fact that they don't even correct their numbers when Sony, Microsoft or Nintendo release official numbers, speaks for itself.
No, what I'm saying is that if I had made trophies my top priority, then I would've played many games in a different way compared to what I prefer.
For example I didn't want to play DX:HR on the hardest difficulty or completely avoid using lethal means on the first playthrough. I played it my way first and then went for the trophies second. I do enjoy trophies, it's just not my top priority to get them as fast as possible.
No, it's just that some people can't get their priorities straight (trophies vs. enjoying the game the way you want to). And that's their own fault. I take my time with games first, and go after trophies later if I enjoy the game enough to bother.
I don't think he meant there would be no other reasons. More like Uncharted would be reason enough alone.
