I can't watch the vid. It works for the first 10 seconds and then gives me "Content is Unavailable".
I'm not completely against touch surfaces, but analog sticks are too important and pretty much perfect at what they're supposed to do. Don't fix it if it's not broken. A controller has plenty of other viable places to put the touchpad, I don't see any reason why it should replace a tried and true mechanic which everyone is used to over many years of gaming.
A touchpad or screen will never be able to replace analog sticks. With analog sticks you automatically know what position it's in. I've played quite a lot of games on my phone that emulate an analog stick or d pad. It simply doesn't work as well even after practice. The physical feedback can't be emulated on a level surface.
I don't see protruding outside edges as a viable solution either. It would be better compared to a completely smooth surface like a ...
I never stopped to think why I liked this game so much. Now that I read this opinion piece, I realized it was actually quite a refreshing game even though it may seem a bit stereotypical at first glance.
People are expecting to hear about a price cut for Vita in western regions on wednesday in the PS meeting. Hold your horses and be patient for a couple more days.
@Hingle
Fans =/= fanboys.
Write that down.
I didn't mean that those devices sales don't matter at all. Even though smartphones and tablets sell a lot more than 3DS or Vita, it doesn't mean that everyone who has one is satisfied about their gaming capabilities. I have an SGS2 which is powerful enough to play anything on Android.
I've honestly tried very hard to find something really worth my time to play, but so far the only games I've played extensively or completed on my phone are GTA3, VC, Plants...

So soon? You sure? :O
Who buys a phone, tablet or iPod primarily for gaming? Your sales point is moot.
I can't decide should I bubble him down for off topic or up for funny. :)
Don't forget Stupid level over 9000!
So true. I had my doubts about this game based on the discussions I had read here. But then I decided to go for it when it was on sale at PSN for 22€ a couple of weeks ago. And I'm glad I did.
The game has its pros and cons and while the cons such as lack of different game modes and widely wanted certain characters seem quite big, they never stopped me from enjoying this game.
I've had a good time with it and I'm just hoping for a sequel with a bi...
When are they going to patch the scope zoom stat back in? It's extremely frustrating to buy a sniper with otherwise good stats but find out it only has a zoom of 1.2 after you've already bought it.
It's quite enjoyable IMO, but there's a lot of stuff to improve on. Different game modes and characters would do wonders for this game.
No, the real reason is still this: Crapcom.
Once again, because: Crapcom.
"Kratos just got a whole lot prettier."
I laughed. That just sounds so wrong.
That's like alternating between a gaming PC and a stick. Have fun.
They've kind of already broken their word with The Last of Us.
I don't think that was a teaser for a new game. Sounds more like they're just as hyped about it as we are. I wouldn't get my hopes too high. There may be some game announcements but I like to play it safe and not expect to hear about all the games I'm waiting for tomorrow.
