It's amazing to me that the same people bashing the article about the Elite 360's performance on amazon.com are in here screaming victory for the PS3 because of this article. Sheesh.

as of now, the PS3 is really doing well as far a failure reports on the internet. Leaving the 360 out of it, and looking at just the PS0ne and PS2 problems at launch the PS3 is next to perfect in that regard. However the PS3 hasn't been out that long so the unit longevity has yet been tested but as it looks right now the PS3 is a solid piece of hardware. Hats off.

IMHO PS3 trailers for any of the "AAA" games is simply unacceptable. We've been waiting since E3 05. Thanks for more of the same Kojima. Hope you didn't just revise the old trailer for a third time.

from what I read and researched, the Blue Gene/P does not even use the cell's technology. Each Blue Gene/P unit in this supercomputer uses four PowerPC 450 general purpose processors. I think the title for this news item needs to be changed.
you seem to be right. I looked it up, it seems to be made up many general purpose processors in one unit. Looks like the author of the blog this news item is linked to cut and paste the announcement added the reference to the cell. There is no real relation to the cell as far as I can see. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

I think (so far) the character models, gameplay, lighting, and physics are better. Come on watch this video then look at uncharted again. Either way that's just my opinion.

Where do you get those numbers? I don't care which camp a console enthusiast is in, but throwing out numbers based on assumption and patchy internet info is not creditable. Plus, after the fact, to call the 'otherside' a bunch of fanboys doesn't impress many either to be sure.
