An article that makes me feel good to be a gamer.
The Playstation 3 is doing fine. I was feeling like the 360 was lacking some really good AAA games around this time last year too. I think that Sony is just suffering a backlash from bad PR and some statements from Sony execs that the company, as a whole, could have done without. This and the fact that the expectation of the playstation 3 to perform like the PS2 right out of the gate is what I believe is the main catalyst for most of this "PS3 is floundering" stuff.
In a word...No.
But as it was with 360 around this time last year. The PS3 needs it's first super AAA games. And again, like the 360 this time last year, the PS3 will be getting some this fall.

Nah, I played the demo lastnight and I don't think the gameplay would translate well to multiplayer.
Bubble for you my friend. That's a great point and something the rest of us need to remind ourselves of. Now the only thing that might be Irrational Games excuse for this is that the dowloadable content is behind the game development stage and won't be ready for the release. What might be another good example of this "fleecing" is with Rockstar. Since the additional content for the 360 is now coming out around the same time of the actual game should it be included in the release...
But truth be told, if it didn't have Halo Beta attached, I would have rented instead of purchased it.
