If it comes, I doubt the GTA delay will have much to do with it. I think the cut is already planned. I believe sony is going to get super aggressive this holiday.
Maybe it was DVD9, maybe it was difficultly with the Cell, or maybe it was a cookie shortage in Rockstar's breakroom and everyone left in protest. Who cares. Bottom line is whether you are pro xbox, pro sony, or pro games, we all have to wait. Anyways after reading "N'Gai Croal On GTA Delay" I didn't have to read the second part of the title. I knew it where it was going.

How could it even be possible to change anything about Lair at this stage of the game. It's 2 weeks before the original release date. The game disks should already be in the manufacturing process, some may have already been shipped. This is weird. Something don't feel right.

that a common misconception because of some of the paint jobs (some kinda photo realistic) are so detailed. How they are really done is by spending hour just manipulating basic shapes in to complex designs.

I can see you point. And I'll take it a little further. With any establish franchise the expectation increase 10 fold with every new title released. Halo 3 has a lot to prove and many will assume that it will be great. And even if the game is a great title but fails to satisfy the fanbase's expectations then the media backlash will be ruthless. I also agree the competition is a could be a factor too. But with what I'm seeing in the media and the incrediable amount of pre-orders tallied, ...
