Is epic working on a optimized version of UT3 for the 360 as well as the PS3. Because I thought the UT3 engine was fine on the 360 but needed to be revamped to better exploit the cell's architecture. The think the attention needed from MS for epic is in the XBL arena. But I don't follow this stuff that closely.
My guess is it's because of the nature of the XBL system. The need help with MS's XBL administrators and techs to work in a file transfer system. Kind of like when you take a picture of your car in forza and post it to the forza site except it needs to work both ways.

I understand what you mean and would feel the same if MS had left the user base with "repurchase" as the only option. But with the warranty and the fact that you will get it back with the new addition heatsyncs (assuming this fixes it), I am less worried about my launch 360 and more disappointed with the reality that it took this long to get the fix. Yes I did, as an example in the case of fax/copier/scanner/printer. Those combo system are never reiable. So if sony wants to come out with a SKU with TV tuner/DVR recorder/Blu-Ray player/Game console, I don't think it's a good idea, it feels like a gimmick, nothing more.

I guess it's just me, but a tv tuner in a GAME CONSOLE is just useless. It's like having that 3 in 1 print/fax/scanner device. Pretty cool concept but when realized never is what it was intended and never that reliable.
