the environments are stunning and detailed, the scenery is grand, and the amount of enemies on screen is going to be just spectacular. they've also improved the texture of her hair.
What if I could walk around as Kratos and just rip people's avators apart...j/k

Why can't you just give props to the devs who know how to properly program and utilize a system? 1080p, at 60fps, and self-shadowing is an impressive feat, just say it. If you have a 1080p TV, you will get more clarity and it will look amazing. And stop saying, 'oh we already enjoyed this game', it's obvious that they didn't release it for you. They knew they had an audience to capture who hadn't played this yet and they took the time, and not half-assed it, to make it a worthwhile purchase. ...
nah, I'm pretty sure they knew what they were getting into when they launched their system, all features included: cell, blu-ray... They knew it was new architecture and it was going to be hard to develop for, and yes they knew how much money was going to be lost. I don't think this spells death for Sony, at least not that I can tell. Now, I don't have numbers, but I will say that Sony surely is all-profit now from the PS2 and that's why they are pushing that so hard with new software coming ...
was going to compile a list of PS3 exclusives that included Uncharted and Ratchet, but what's the point anymore, at the end of the day everyone is grounded with their own opinion anyways. What bothers me is when people say 360 will have the BEST exclusives, or PS3 will have the BEST exclusives, like it's a FACT or something. It's PREFERENCE.
*sorry, I didn't mean to project all of that to your post*
That game is one of a kind, there has not been many games to completely immerse me in its undertaking storyline, or its breathtaking settings, or the colossi that brought out every single emotion that a game or a movie possibly can. The game was a true epic, I hope they do a remake too, possibly by the time the next game comes in.
I like how he thinks. He takes his game, and actually uses his resources to truly make a great re-vamped next-gen game. He lets the game speak for itself. I believe he once said that releasing a game with such a small user base would be risky only if you didn't have confidence in your game. I think all of their hard work will pay off in the end because PS3 gamers won't see it as a port, but as a dedicated remake for those who may not have enjoyed it before, but now we get 60fps, self-shadowin...
I believe someone actually tried to compare this with Gears, which is just plain dumb, completely different styles, genres, and game. Some people just can't say this looks good without having a comparison of some sort. They always revert to saying "only my system can do this" which is uncalled for because we will be seeing graphics like this from now on and they'll get better too, look at Blue Dragon.
I've never seen it in person, but it looks really plain in photos, truly like the short end of the stick.
'Cause when they make a real-life sort of game, they have to pay attention to every detail so that it seems natural to us. With these type of games, there is enough room to be kind of quirky, but still maintain high graphical quality, like Pixar movies.
The graphics are just the icing to Ratchet&Clank, it's all about the different types of weapons and the gameplay. I understand what you guys are saying and I do agree that the graphics can be pulled off on the 360, but I think fans of the series are just amazed at the graphical leap from the PS2, I know I am.
"[L]ike I said, MGS4 is aimed for the movie theatre, it's aimed for the PS3, so the game's scenario and graphics need this theatre-type hardware," Kojima responded. "It's when a producer has a game that can work on the 'DVD level' that a game will go multiplatform."
Well, it can, but he will have to bring it down to the Multi-Platform level. Just like if Gears was brought to the PS3, they would technically have to remove some major components of the game so ...
not as good as the post man, I think he was high though
The art direction in this game looks really interesting, kinda like Sin City in its own way. I was reading a magazine on this and how you could find black&white neighborhoods and fully-colored neighborhoods that co-existed with eachother. i love this gen.
I believe it was in this description towards the end of the paragraph.

He's clearly defending the PS3.
I remember getting flinged like 40ft. in the air while riding a bike, it would be crazy if I could just pause and snap that. I've never seen a biker get stuck on the grill, that's some funny sh*t right there. Another fun part of this game is getting revenge, it's such a sweet satisfaction, especially with a headset talking trash.
yummy ass
