The latest update allows parents to block the internet with an access code. But some parents just aren't that tech savvy or just don't give a damn. Give 'em a break, they just shelled out $200 or more, it better do something.
The Nintendo Wii is not for hardcore gamers. At least not by itself. I don't think that any gamer that has been playing games for more than five years and is 17years or older is going to be satisfied with the Wii by itself.
Next-Gen Games comes with the XBOX 360 and the PS3. The Wii has little appeal to me. I don't plan on having my mom and my grandparents playing videogames with me. I want to play with gamers and friends.

I don't think that anyone can say who will win the "console war." All there is are predictions and analysts saying this and that. All I have to say is that analysts are not gamers and it really doesn't matter now who sells the most because it's going to be very close. I think Microsoft knew that they had to launch the 360 early because Sony had wide brand recogition and it was a very smart move as the 360 has been very successful and has many good games and next-gen graphics. I just want to wait until next year around March 07 when all of the good games come out for PS3 like Heavenly Sword or Warhawk and other games pushed back due to the slow launch. I think that will be an important time to compare the two systems. Right now, we just have to wait. Oh by the way, I'm never going to buy a Wii.

for people who own HDTVs and can't afford this. i know damn well that i can't afford a good HDTV and that I'll have to wait until it's price goes way down. so i guess i don't have to worry too much about this. but Sony better start bringing in some good news soon or else......
is not a good combination. i think that they're just bidding too and have no intentions to pay for it. if i got my hands on a ps3, i wouldn't keep it either if i could make a huge profit. who would? plus, with all the manufacturing problems, it's not a safe purchase.

there are a lot of news being posted for PS3 by XBOX fans. it doesn't add up. Why are they searching for PS3 news, if they don't like sony. BASHERS! lol
so if i got it correct, out of 40 games, the rough probability would be that 1 wouldn't work, depending on factors like the amount of games you have and the randomness of the sampling. Plus i read that in some cases it's not that they flat out don't work, but there might be some glitches or some lighting problems or a level that doesn't work.

Stop hating on the PS3!
Sony is doing this and Sony is doing that. Sony, Sony, Sony. All they did was open the thing up and fanboys are already trying to bash it! Wow, it's amazing how much they comment on the PS3 considering that they have no intentions of buying it when it's available.
Do you think many people are going to make their own computers just to install different OS's on it. I think that a lot of people trust manufactured products and I don't see what the problem with being able to install different OS's on the PS3. It just gives you more options. If the 360 could do that, I know you wouldn't complain now would you.
I don't want Nintendo and Microsoft to be the only options for NextNextGen. Nintendo always lags behind and the XBOX needs some competition. The PlayStation is needed.
