"The lack of voice chat is just one of several differences between the 360 and PS3 versions of iMPACT!. Overall, the game's a whole lot sharper and more detailed on the 360. The PS3 characters look good, but their 360 counterparts look like they're pulled from TV. Also, there's some slowdown when cycling through wrestlers at the character select screen and during entrances like AJ's that make use of lots of fireworks. PS3 also suffers from a lot more clipping issues. While playing the PS...
The Japanese are still the best at fighting games.
I foresee a lot of people on this forum eating their words or coming up with sorry excuses in the near future.
So these songs won't be available on SingStore?
"'Looks impressive' is something of a massive understatement when talking about the in-race visuals. We can't think of another off-road racer that makes better use of current-gen hardware - including MotorStorm: Pacific Rift."
"We were hugely impressive by Pure. It's a game we've had our eye on since it was announced with a rather impressive in-game trailer and thankfully the gameplay seems to be matching the stunning visuals. MotorStorm: Pacific Rift might end u...
Reads like they thought it was a mediocre game.
Can't wait.
Wow you REALLY think a platformer can't be done in half a DVD??? Unless of course you're expecting 10 hours of cutscenes in between levels...
Maybe they have a billion customization tools. That ought to bring it out of DVD storage space for a platformer.
LOL! So now LBP is a system sapping software?? What a joke. If this was done on the 360, they'd simply have to compress the data which will fit into half a DVD, and because they don't have to program around the limitations of the cell, there wouldn't be a need for hard disk installation.
I wonder how much Sony pays them to make statements like that?
This year, I have bought on 360:-
Lost Odyssey, Ninja Gaiden 2, Civilization Revolution, Too Human, Soul Calibur 4, Lego Indiana Jones, Tales of Vesperia.
On PS3:-
MGS4, Beijing Olympics, Siren.
I will also be buying this year on 360:-
Fallout 3, Fable 2, Gears of War 2, Banjo, Left 4 Dead, Lego Batman, NBA 2K9, Saints Row 2, Rise of Argonauts, TNA Impact.
On PS3:-
LBP, maybe Socom depending on the reviews.
...
That was waaaaaay harsh Jenzo. LOL!!
No doubt Fable 2 is going to be my GOTY followed by Gears 2, but for my wife and daughter it'll have to be LBP.
You mean there are still people who haven't realized that 2008 being the year of the PS3 was complete BS???
You obviously did not play MGS4. It is certainly not a game worth playing. Or even worth watching.
Well at least they apologized this time.
Apparently, you don't just expect betas to be buggy, you expect them to be absolutely broken too. It just simply wouldn't be a beta if it didn't have crippling login errors or disconnection problems or abnormally long load times. Welcome to the new age of stupid.
I'm in the midst of playing TOV and I must say I'm enjoying it a lot more than the other JRPGs I've played on the next gen consoles so far, even though I'm not big on JRPGs. The story is interesting and unconvoluted, the dialogue is engaging without being contrived and long-winded, and the characters are very likeable. A very nice change of pace from heavily story-driven games of late.
AHAHAHAHAHAH! Everyone is waiting for FF Versus 13??? Too funny man, and too damn desperate too!
I suppose nobody is waiting for FF13 just like nobody was waiting for GTAIV and DMC4 too? HAHAHAHAHA!
Not that many months ago, Wii was in my opinion still at second place when it came to games. But in recent months, PS3 has overtaken Wii. I haven't had the urge to buy a single Wii title in months and don't see myself buying one for months to come. I think Nintendo ought to address this problem.
KZ2 will have trouble keeping up with Gears 1, much less Gears 2.
