You asked why he has so many disagrees. That's why I gave you the answer I did. He never said anything about updates to the engine, only you did. Like you said, reading comprehension.
At any rate, to satisfy your needs, sure, water doesn't look great in their latest games. It's improved, but there are far better engines. But to expect a >6 year old engine to improve to the point where it surpasses current engines just isn't realistic, not without some reall...
"It's not a completely open world. It's like the 2D FF games in HD." This was all I really needed to hear. I have faith in FF again.
Do you have any links to that? I'd be interested in reading what they had to say.
EDIT:
Okay, thanks man. I'll take a look
Because at the time it was definitely one of the best looking games? Saying it looks terrible and amateurish makes no sense at all.
Maybe you didn't read the comments. 2004 game.
Man, has anyone played super mario bros 3? Water is so shitty looking in that game. Amateurs!
No excuse? Think of how many servers MS might have, and then try and consider how many Sony might have.. Servers get overwhelmed and speeds slow down. I'd imagine Sony has fewer considering how giant MS is compared to Sony.. and if you are paying for xbl then you should expect fast download speeds, might as well get something out of XBL besides getting charged for what should be a free feature.
I max out my connection (5mbit) when downloading anything from Sony (updates, ...
I imagine its along the lines of borderlands, just with with a bit more emphasis on the driving.
I'll post here what I posted there:
“But providing new maps every month would go a long way in justifying the price. Continually balancing the gameplay would as well. Creating new team-based modes and gametypes could also go do the series a lot of good. ”
You mean how modding communities used to do it for free? Maybe next they’ll offer dedicated servers! Please, those features are nothing new, modding communities have been doing that for a long time at no...
Did you use the Hyper item? I hear they limit break faster with that.
Even if this is the case, that doesn't really bother me at all. I can accept a well polished game just as soon as an innovative one, so long as its fun.
@demonddel
troll elsewhere, I was making an observation.
Mods makes you hate PC gaming? That makes absolutely no sense. Mods can improve the game or add new content, or whatever you want. Even if you don't like changing the games, they are optional so they do absolutely nothing to you if you don't use them.. so how can you hate them?
@guzman
Sorry but wrong. You may think its overrated, that's fine, whatever. But dogshit? You haven't the slightest clue about good game design. I think the Halo serie...
Inferior? PC version has mods. You can *make* it superior.
So, basically he thinks people should stop flaming. I dunno, I thought it was pretty clear.
Noticed a lack of GoW3 in that article.. last girl was the only one who mentioned it that I noticed
Really? IGN? You think they'd be good judges on how to utilize each system, you know, being fantastic programmers that they are? A lot of the statistics are wrong, as well.
"Xbox 360 has 278.4 GB/s of memory system bandwidth. The PS3 has less than one-fifth of Xbox 360's (48 GB/s) of total memory system bandwidth. "
Completely wrong..
It's been on sale on Steam for 5$ quite a few times. I imagine it will be on sale again.
Nah MMO is still going to come out. I imagine it will play significantly different from either game to warrant being a seperate game.
Even if it is a cheap knock off, this isn't (it also isn't a 360 HDD, but I imagine it costs roughly the same if not more to produce):
