Don't confuse the exception with the norm. Will SOME casuals pre order the Switch? Yes. That doesn't change the fact that by and large the early adopters are your core gamer crowd.
Yes because the hardcore gamers are the early adopters. They set the tone and are the ones who initially evangelize the system to the masses. Advertising is great but word of mouth can be equally, if not more powerful.
Everything about this system feels half-baked. Like it's just not ready to launch. Nintendo should have released Zelda for Wii U in March, then launched Switch in the fall when more games will be ready for it.
Why? Because of achievements? LOL!
Good to see another converted "Xbot". When it comes to software libraries, not only is PlayStation's the most prolific, it's always the most diverse.
I honestly don't know what people were expecting, considering we knew this was going to be a console/handheld hybrid. Anyone who thought this was going to compare to PS4 graphics wise wasn't being realistic. Besides, looking at games like Zelda, Mario Lost Odessy, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Splatoon 2, Fast RMX, Skyrim, etc. Just what about those graphics does anyone find unsatisfying? Those games look really good!
There's no way Nintendo will even SHIP that many Switches in the first year LMAO!
Titanfall 2 is awesome! Criminally underplayed and I honestly like it more than I do Battlefield 1.
3rd party support for Switch will be similar to 3DS. Lots of unique Japanese titles along with a bunch of indie support. Gamers who think the Switch is going to get lots of Western and Euro support are setting themselves up for disappointment.
Me too. Except the virtual console. It was way better on Wii.
WTF!?!? If anything they deserve it more!
Wii and GameCube architecture were nearly identical though. The Switch architecture is very different from Wii U. I can see how that would be quite a daunting task.
Nier, Horizon, Yakuza 0, Persona 5, Gravity Rush 2, damn! PlayStation is about to go into beast mode!
I roughly expected Xbox One levels. X1 launched over 3 years ago and was already considered outdated tech then. Considering how rapidly tech moves I really didnt think it was that farfetched to expect similar performance levels in a tablet casing in 2017.
Welcome to 2005 Nintendo! Jesus!
Durr!!
No
Based on the trailer that was shown, I thought the English voice over was quite good.
You don't have to click to see the headlines.
Ben sounds just like "Randall" from the movie Clerks LOL!
