Metacritic has it currently at 72/100 with 64% reviews positive, 34% mixed, and 2% negative. That's pretty favorable. Is it Horizon, Red Dead, or Witcher 3? No. But still potentially a lot of fun to play.
It looks REALLY early in development.
Your disagrees are hilarious. Everything you said is 100% accurate. The decision to stay with cartridge instead of adopting CD Rom is the single worst decision Nintendo ever made. It completely disrupted their momentum and changed their trajectory in the gaming industry forever. People can try and romanticize the N64 era now, but i remember the high game prices and the ridiculously long waits between quality releases. I remember how gutted I felt when it was announced that Nintendo had l...
499.99 in 2020 is not too much for what PS5 will be capable of.
Why? Its long due for a sequel.
Pikmin and Paper Mario I definitely agree. However I would have chosen others over Mario Bros U, Wii Sports, or DK Tropical Freeze. I would have chosen any of the following...
Punch Out
F Zero
Star Fox
Waverace
Kid Icarus
Excitebike
Mario Golf
Earthbound
"Holy frijoles! Unduly unduly, arriba! Ariba!!"
My Pro gets loud too. They finally solved the noise issue with later Pro models, but mine is an early model.
Awesome! Thanks for posting.
The three things I REALLY wish Mark would've talked about were..
1. The nature of BC with legacy consoles beyond PS4. We've seen all the patents filed for hardware emulation for PS1, 2, and 3. But will PS5 run the actual disks from those consoles or will it be strictly through digital purchases on the store?
2. Will PS5 have a 4K UHD drive for 4K movies?
3. What steps are So...
I disagree. Lost Legacy was amazing! I liked it even more than 4.
It already came pretty close with 4. Dont get me wrong, I enjoyed the game but introducing a long lost brother out of nowhere just screams season 9 of a 70's or 80's sitcom where a new, more annoying sibling is added. I actually enjoyed Lost Legacy more than 4 and if the Uncharted series continues, I'd love to see it done with Chloe and Nadine with Nathan making a cameo here and there.
@IRetrouk,
Imagine a game like GTAV, only now you can enter into EVERY room of EVERY building in the map and totally interact with everything. That's what I want to see. Imagine The Witcher 3 with the ability to completely manipulate the environment. A world with that size and detail, but with the ability to chop down any tree, to excavate the land, to terraform, to build, etc. The ability to totally and completely manipulate your environment. THAT'S what I'...
Uh, no PS5 sounds like a next gen console. PS4 Pro is a PS4 Deluxe.
We need denser worlds, not bigger ones. I mean, No Mans Sky renders an entire universe of planets. You cant get any bigger than that. But those worlds are largely empty and devoid of any kind of diversity. Red Dead Redemption 2 has an enormous map, but does that make it a better game? No it does not. Personally i thought Horizon Zero Dawn struck the perfect balance between map size, diverse environments, game play, and variety of missions. I dont wanr a videogame world any bigger than ...
Pretty sure i read somewhere that Sony is prepared to take a 100.00 loss on each console sold. Im with you in that I think 499.99 will be the price and if the specs are as beastly as they sound, thats a hell of a bargain.
To the author, are you concerned or just restless and anxiously anticipating? I think as gamers its easy to confuse the two. I too am chomping at the bit to know more about what Sony is up to. However I'm not worried. After 4 straight successful generations and countless high quality exclusives, Sony has earned my trust. I'm definitely excited to know more but I'm not at all concerned.
@UltraNova
So switch to Xbox then. I'm sure all that extra "face time" they give more than makes up for their lack of quality exclusives.
Its never "too late" to make a game better. Those who already bought it have a reason to revisit it and those who still havent bought have an even bigger incentive to do so. Its a win/win in my book.
399.99 (but I think it will be 499.99).
