"I own literally, everything. My TV is the best the industry has to offer under 15,000.00, so I am at a loss as to what everyone is going on about."
It's pure fan hyperbole to make themselves feel better about their expensive purchase.
Or be less of a douche bag and dont assume everyone who prefers console gaming is "less smart" than those who game on PC.
The game looks disappointingly ordinary. Basically an upres'd 3DS game. Come on Game Freak! Where's the ambition? Where's the production value? In a world where games like BOTW, Mario Odyssey, and Xenoblade Chronicles 2 exist on Switch, there's just no excuse for this! 5 years development and THIS is the best you can produce???
LMAO isnt that sort of the point of this franchise?? That's like writing an article titled "Is Mortal Kombat still overly violent?"
More environmental interactivity. I want to go into every building. I want to climb anywhere. I want to actually dive under the water and swim around. I dont want a bigger map. I want a similar sized map but with more in it. Also how about a robotic companion? One that says with you the whole game and helps you fight?
Reggie was a "yes man" who did not have a single shred of decisioning power at Nintendo. He took his marching orders from Japan, just as Bowser will. This changing of the guard will affect absolutely nothing with Nintendo, other than who's face we see in the directs.
I think around 78/100 is what it will end up at on metacritic. Which is rather pedestrian for a PlayStation exclusive. If it were on Xbox it would be GOTY for that platform.
The Order 1886 was the first to get that dubious honor.
Also, not the same genre but Gravity Rush wasnt highly rated either.
I think it will be a solid 7/10 game (Which is still a good score btw)
Personally I dont think the PS5 will read any disks older than PS4. Backwards compatibility for any legacy systems older than PS4 will carry out through purchases digitally through the online store. Especially PS1 disks as they are on CD ROM and PS4 already doesnt read CD's. Why would Sony not try and monetize this as much as possible? If they allow legacy disks to be used its just going to encourage preowned sales where Sony doesn't get a cut.
LOL I hope the new guy's name was the deciding factor in giving him the job.
I agree 100%. If I can offer up ONE criticism of PS4 compared to last generation, it's that we lack those sort of quirky, off the beaten path type of games that PS3 had. Games like Puppeteer, Journey, Unfinished Swan, Flower, Pixeljunk Shooters, etc. I love PS4 but you have to admit, there has been a glut of 3rd person action/adventure games. I would like to see the library diversified more.
PS4 also has Ghost of Tsushima, Concrete Genie, Nioh 2, and Shenmue 3 coming along with Days Gone, Death Stranding, and Dreams. I'm not saying they're all coming in 2019 but the PS4 is FAR from done in terms of exclusives.
The Order 1986. Make it happen!
The game is alright, but it's just not what I'm looking for from Nintendo right now. Much like Kirby Star Allies, it's a very "safe" and unambitious game. This game could easily run on 3DS (lower res of course). That's not the kind of effort I'm looking for from Nintendo's dev studios. I want to see games with greater production value and ambition. Not these left to right platformers set in pseudo 3D environments. I feel like I played this 10 years ago ...
What's ironic is the "carlton" dance is just an exaggerated copy of the way Bruce Springsteen dances in his "Dancing In The Dark" video.
In a dystopian future where earth's population is but a fraction of what it once was, beggars cant be choosers lol.
Probably too busy. The Hangover 4 and Role Models 2 will start filming soon.
Actually what I want is a complete and total reboot of the franchise. Story telling and character development has come a long long way since the first Killzone came out. I love the general concept of Killzone, but bring it into the modern era with better story, dialogue, character development, etc. Oh and for the love of God, MAKE IT 60FPS!!
I 100% agree with this. You can see the difference even with standard 1080p blu ray compared with 1080p streaming. Just the other day I compared my box set of The Clone Wars Blu Rays to the Netflix versions and the difference was pretty startling. With streaming I got crushed blacks, color banding, noise pixelation, etc. Blu Rays are way better, no question!
