Yep. A 72 is considered "fresh" on Rotten Tomatoes. Days Gone is a "good" game, just not great

Exactly! Hes done it mostly with smoke and mirrors. I give him credit for Game Pass though. That was a great idea.

Hes implying that the build quality of the Switch is relatively poor (by Nintendo's standards) and he's right.

LOL what exactly are you arguing here? Sony isn't a non-profit organization. They can't give these systems away. At the same time, they have to find the right balance between price and a providing a console with a large enough jump in performance to justify to people that they should upgrade. Sure, they can put out a new console at 300.00 but it's going to be disappointing compared to what the PS4 can already do. I've always said that people can afford what they want to a...

@Nitrowolf2

You're right! PS3 was 599.99. I'm not sure how I came up with that 699.99 price.

What are you talking about? Inflation affects everyone who participates in a modernized economy. I'm not talking about primitives who deal in livestock currency.

Most overrated game of the generation. A technical marvel, completely devoid of pure fun.

2582d ago 2 agree3 disagreeView comment

You're actually a little low in your calculation. 699.99 in 2006 would be about 875.00 in today's dollars (USD).

2582d ago 2 agree22 disagreeView comment

Does the author not understand inflation adjustment? In 2020 dollars, 499.99 is considered a relatively affordable sticker price for a new console. It's literally what 399.99 was in 2006 almost to the penny. 699.99 in 2006 would be the equivalent of about 875.00 today.

Exactly!

Clearly you dont know what you're talking about. There are Flash Sales and discounts happening all the time on the PlayStation Store (I'm not an Xbox owner but I assume its the same there as well). Your sweeping general statement of "better deals on physical than digital" tells me you havent done your research.

People are already transitioning to an all digital future (myself being one of them). Not sure why it took Stadia to make you reflect on it.
I've been all digital this whole generation. The only thing I've lost is the need to have to find room to store my games! I absolutely love having my library be all digital.

Why would anyone think otherwise? What a weird thing to say.

Mixelon you need to go get yourself a life. You obviously have way too much time on your hands.

So? If that's what Square wanted to do with him, that was their prerogative.

Mod Nation Racers was amazing! The creation community made some incredible vehicles, characters, and tracks! The online was fun as well! I wish like hell Sony would bring this franchise back!

Mod Nation FTW!

LOL it is when the actual chip manufacturer confirms it. This isn't some BS PR nonsense being spewed by the console provider. Anyway, like said in another post, Sony's exclusives are the only "secret sauce" that matter.

Sony's exclusives are the only "secret sauce" they need.

The average score for Days Gone is EXACTLY what I thought it would be, a "good" not great game. Also timing is everything. If this game came out 5 years ago on PS4, it would have scored much higher. But unfortunately we now live in a world where games like God of War, Horizon Zero Dawn, The Witcher 3, Spiderman, Red Dead 2, etc exist and the open world genre is crowded. A simply "good" open world game is just white noise in today's market. You have to find a way t...
