Using the mouse we can do a lot with very subtle wrist movements and therefore minimal effort. Touch screens are hard work in comparison, especially with bigger screens.
I admit it - it does feel more natural to physically point at stuff. But that doesn't mean it's going to be easier.
PC gamers will probably continue to use the mouse for everything for the sake of continuity.

The mac isn't any safer. It just seems that way because its users can afford to buy their software and therefore are less likely to be infected by viri.

What I like about the idea is that people that just read their emails will only have to pay a few bucks per month, while Long John Silver that's docked in Pirate Bay 24/7 will have to pay much more.

As a PC user I no longer enjoy upgrading and tinkering with PCs. I'd much rather go buy a prebuilt system. So something like the Acer (but more powerful) would be fine with me.
I would be happy buying a new machine every two years, rather than upgrading video cards, memory, cpus, motherboards every few months. Upgrading components can be tedious and stressful.

I need the full screen. A little window over the top of my workspace would get in the way.
And a little window would be no different to my iphone, which is a little too small.
A game that needs large capacity disks is usually full of FMV movie sequences. I can happily do without those types of games.
We need to stop thinking that large storage capacity equates to bigger and better games. For example - the universe could probably be coded in just 2 kilobytes. :)
