Loved the contra for NES. That was co-op shooting at its best. I would love a new Contra, but maybe not a traditional side-scroller, more like MK: Shaolin Monks, but with guns. Speaking of MK:SM, I would like to see a sequel to that as well!
This Tomb Raider is more about survival than Uncharted. From what I've read, Lara will be hunting for food, eating, resting, and looking for other survivors, items for weapons, and a way off the island. She will gain new skills and abilities which add a sense of RPG elements to the game.
Uncharted is awesome, but you go from point A to point B shooting anything in your path and collecting treasures along the way.
I hope this TR reboot is a bit more open...

Looks really good but like most FP games, this gave me a headache after a few mins. I wish there was an option for third-person but I know that would take away from the thrill and suspense of not knowing whats behind you.
This is awesome, I never got a chance to play the other MGS games. Too bad MGS1 is not included, but I'm glad they added in Peacewalker. With the Spinter Cell HD collection coming this month, and MGS HD coming in Q4, this is going to be a stealthy gaming year for me.
The demo was fun for like 5 mins, but quickly got boring and repetitive for me. Apart from the side missions, it doesn't really feel like an open world game interactive-wise. I never was fond of inFamous, maybe that's why I'm not too crazy about iF2.
The graphics are worth mentioning as it looks beautiful for an open world game, but the gameplay doesn't feel grounded, feels like i'm skating all over the place, and the fighting seems very shallow and spamm...
Same here dude, thought it was the end of this year. Oh well, I guess UC3 will keep me busy this holiday. :)
Just a few more hours, can't wait to see this much-hyped trailer. I like the survival theme of this reboot. The last few Tomb Raider titles were good, but not great, I'm glad the series has grown up a bit.
Yep I loved Bloody Roar also, but KI was my game. If we don't see a new KI, all votes are for Bloody Roar, otherwise IDGAF. :)
I'd buy a 360 just for KI.
If it is true, I'm surprised how there have been no leaked information/content/pics about it. I think this is the best time for a KI reboot, otherwise I will lose all hope.
OMG please let it be Killer Instinct. There has been alot of speculation about this in the past few weeks, let alone the past few years. I'm not sure if it was known as "huge" but to me it was. I pretty much grew up on this fighter, along with SF and MK, but this was my fav.

KI and Bloody Roar are amongst the top of my list.
The Killer Instinct series is my favourite fighter of all time. The combo system was easy and fun, you didn't have to be a pro to pull off a "killer" combo. Also, the counter system in KI2 was pretty solid. I love how every special move could be countered by another, which makes the game more strategic.
I enjoyed each character. None felt more overpowered then the next. The bosses were FAIR and fun to play against. You didn't have to SPAM projectiles to win,...
Well it's obvious more and more people are finding out today that it's fully back up in America/Canada. I myself haven't checked if I could still login, but I had a good 5+ hours playing early this morning. Hopefully the bit of downtime people are experiencing has something to do with the PS store being brought back, but nonetheless, it should be running again in a few mins or so [like some have mentioned]. Wow, I just checked the map... things are moving much faster now it seems, 6+ states by the hour. Awesome! Hopefully us Canadians are next!
This game was a beauty to play. At many points in the game it felt like I was in a cutscene only to realize I was still in control of Kratos. Simply stunning.

Can't say until we see actual gameplay footage of TR. The CGI trailer reveals nothing except the theme of the game - survival.
